  We had our son’s birthday at Gainesville Fla Dave and Busters ! Our Server Jamie was Fantastic! Knowledgeable, Friendly and Professional made the Experience Great ! The food and drinks was Excellent ! Thank You for making our son’s Birthday Memorable 👍👍👍👍👍👍

  I visit this location regularly—typically once or twice a week—and overall, my experiences have been positive. While there are occasional minor issues, such as brief food delays or a game being temporarily out of service, my primary concern is the level of service at the bar. Consistently, there are extended waits before a bartender acknowledges me to take my order. In addition, food is often delivered before utensils are provided, requiring me to request them separately. After an order is placed, follow-up service is limited; I frequently have to flag down a bartender for refills or additional assistance. That said, the food quality is consistently excellent, and the management team is always professional, attentive, and courteous. Overall, I genuinely enjoy coming here, but improving attentiveness and responsiveness at the bar would significantly enhance the experience.

  Tonight was a rude woman handling the trading of tickets. Ignoring us while we were waiting for her to finish up engaging so comfortably with another family that were finished exchanging their tickets. Definitely could be taught about providing awesome customer service and being attentive to those waiting to be served next instead of ignoring! Had us standing there like we were invisible. I other than that we do usually eat but after that experience we decide to skip drinks and food.

  People often describe heaven as a beautiful, unworldly place. I imagine it differently. To me, heaven is a place filled with laughter, competition, and shared joy—a place where friends and family come together. That place is Dave & Buster’s. My first visit there began on a day worth celebrating. Earlier that afternoon, my mom had received a raise at work, and she decided to mark the moment by taking me somewhere special. At the time, I didn’t realize how meaningful that choice would become, but it would leave an impression that has lasted for years. From the moment we walked inside, the atmosphere felt electric. The glow of arcade lights, the sounds of games, and the hum of excitement immediately drew me in. We were greeted by Mr. Smith, an employee whose kindness made the experience unforgettable. He welcomed us warmly, patiently showed us how to use the credit machines, and guided us to a booth. His attentiveness made us feel genuinely cared for, not simply served. We ordered burgers and fries, and while we waited, I wandered over to a nearby pinball machine. The flashing lights and constant motion captured my attention completely. I played with pure excitement, losing track of time and credits, spending nearly a quarter of them on that one machine alone. It didn’t matter—I was fully immersed in the moment. When our food arrived, it matched the excitement of the games. The meal was satisfying, and together with the arcade, it created a sense of completeness. After eating, my mom and I returned to the games, using every remaining credit until there were none left. Eventually, it was time to leave. As we walked toward the exit, Mr. Smith was there once again, holding the door open and wishing us goodbye, offering the same kindness he had shown us from the start. It was a small gesture, but one that stayed with me. Looking back, that visit to Dave & Buster’s was more than a fun afternoon—it was a moment of celebration, connection, and joy. It showed me that heaven does not have to be distant or imagined. Sometimes, it exists in shared experiences and in the kindness of strangers.
