  Automated engineered order taker did not take our order right. And that's got paid probably double of what we would have spent. We just ate the extra later that evening but it seems like this is a much-needed somewhere else program not in a fast food industry. The food was actually very very greasy and I got very sick then that night.

  This was our first visit and will definitely be our last! Having never eaten at a Checker’s before we decided to give it a try. BIG MISTAKE! We went through the drive through and were greeted by a computer not a person. The order seemed to go smoothly. We got up to the window and the male employee was less than happy to be there. He took our card and then told us to pull around to the other window. Why? There was no one else there at 6pm. We did another loop and went to the second window which serviced the passenger side. We waited a good time and the same guy opened the window shoved the bag of food into my wife’s face and then shut the window and walked away. The food itself was disgusting and ended up in the trash. I ordered the burger and fries and my wife had chicken tenders. The burger is definitely not 100% beef and was the worst burger I’ve ever had, the taste alone was enough to vomit let alone the stale bun. My wife said the best thing about the chicken was the ranch dip. The fries which are apparently famous seemed undercooked and made in dirty grease, they weren’t even worth eating or the chance of coronary. I have no idea how this place is still in business, let alone not shut down by the health department. Eat at your own risk or just go to Wendy’s across the street. If we could give zero stars we would!

  Pulled in here for a bite to eat on our way to a Nephrology appointment at UF Health. We live two hours away. The guy taking our order had the worst attitude. His body language and deminor spoke volume like he was not happy to be at work. No greeting, no nothing. Just mad mugging. He took our order and slammed the window on us. He then shoved the drinks out the pick up window and slammed that window. My girlfriend went and sat down with our drinks. I waited at the window for our food where finally an older lady slide the window open just enough to hand the food out. I reached for it and said "Thank you!" She just slammed the window shut and said nothing I was like "Wow!" The worst service ever. I went and sat down to eat. The food was that Classic Checkers taste that we all love. There is no Checkers in the town we live and was excited to stop here since we haven't been to one in awhile. I was surprised to not see the CHAMP Burger on the menu any more which was their iconic burger, but non the less the food was great. The service HORRIBLE. If you are in the Gainesville area and stop in here, use the drive through. They absolutely hate walk up patrons. They truly express their dislike for customers clwalking up for window service. And they don't offer refills on drinks at this location. Which I never heard of a fast food place not doing refills. We had to go to the Advance Auto Parts next door to buy a couple of Cokes to go. We will never be back to this location again. And sadly with my girlfriend's medical condition we will be passing by this Checkers often with doctor appointments.

  I came in the drive-through for the coupon but they told me it wasn’t a coupon. I had to scan it and it will send me an email so that’s OK and order something she knew I needed a receipt because when I went to scan the QR code it wants a picture of the receipt And a time and the place of the store and that’s how you get A free sandwich with any purchase of a large drink I’m so irritated that she Did that
