I came to this Krispy Kreme on Thursday night, 01/01/2026, around 9:45 PM and left feeling upset, disrespected, and honestly shocked by how I was treated. The same lady working that night has now been rude to me on more than one occasion, and this time was the final straw.
I politely asked if she could warm up baby milk that I had just purchased. Instead of speaking to me like a human being or even showing basic kindness, she immediately refused and responded with a nasty, cold, and dismissive attitude. I was not rude, loud, or demanding. I was simply a mother asking a question. Her tone made it very clear she did not care at all. As a parent, that hurt deeply.
What makes this worse is that this is the same lady who has been rude to me before. On a previous visit, I came through the drive-thru to get a Hot Light donut, something my daughter and I genuinely look forward to. We literally sit in the car together and look out the window to spot when the Hot Light is on. That night, the same worker told me I had to come inside.
Nowhere does Krispy Kreme policy state that Hot Light donuts are walk-in only. I have been coming to Krispy Kreme for years and have always received Hot Light donuts through the drive-thru with no issue. The problem was not the policy. It was her.
Being told to come inside meant I would have had to take both of my children out of the car, one is 1 year old and the other is 6 years old, late at night, in 51-degree Florida weather, which is cold for this area. I cannot legally leave my children in the car, and doing so could literally get me in serious legal trouble. Expecting a mother to unload two small children for a donut, with zero empathy or explanation, is completely unreasonable.
The most upsetting part is the pattern. This is not a one-time bad day. This is the same worker, the same nasty attitude, and the same lack of respect every time I encounter her. Someone who treats customers, especially parents, this way should not be working in customer service at all.
Management needs to take this seriously. This employee should be disciplined or fired. Her behavior reflects badly on Krispy Kreme and ruins what should be a simple, happy experience. Until this is addressed, I will not be returning to this location, and I do not recommend it to anyone, especially families, who expect basic respect, kindness, and professionalism.
