When we walked in, there were four employees behind the counter and no customers in line. It took several minutes for anyone to acknowledge us, and when the young man reluctantly came to the register, he made it very clear that we were bothering him. While taking our order, he was slamming the kiosk and kept turning his back. The employees looked absolutely miserable. It was the most uncomfortable experience I have ever had at a Five Guys. While waiting on our food, I went to wash my hands, and the hallway to the restrooms wreaked of urine. Just what you want to smell before lunch. So thanks, Five Guys, for the terrible attitude and stomach-turning stench. We will never step foot in this location again, ever.

Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.

Leftover fries are excellent reheated in the oven (or Air Fryer). According to Chad Murrell, one of the Five Guys, just pop them in a 350-degree oven for about 10-15 minutes.
