I could have feed 35 people ant Buckys and had a great meal. The restaurant owners need to go to Buxkys and see how to cook brisket.

Food was pretty good and very reasonable prices, although it's a BBQ place except for fried shrimp and a fish sandwich. They should leave fish off of their name. Not much of an atmosphere, and certainly nothing Island about it. But there are several reasons I won't go back. 1. The menu states that gratuity is added on parties of 8 or more. We had a party of 6 , and they added 18%. Being in the restaurant business we are 25% tippers, so no big deal, but if they add a gratuity to every check, it should be stated on the menu and announced by the server upon arrival. 2. We told the server that one check is fine , just split it 3 ways. When we were finished , she walked up with a hand held screen and said , " each bill is 64.50 ". Totally unacceptable. Every customer should be given an check to verify the purchase by item. When I asked for 3 paper printed checks , she said she couldn't do it. I'm not familiar with any POS system that won't allow you to do that. 3. The server never came back to the table to check on us until we finished , and forgot one item ordered , so we couldn't get the item with our meal. 4. Maybe I'm old fashion , but it's absolutely disgusting to have people serving you food with crap hanging out of their nose. It doesn't feel sanitary. This restaurant is in an over 55 retirement area , and I'm sure the majority of the patrons aren't thrilled with facial rings and piercings at their table.
