I placed a mobile order for drive-thru pickup, but because the line was extremely long, I decided to go inside to pick up my order. The manager, Mary, rudely informed me that she would not serve me at the counter and insisted that I return to my car and wait in the drive-thru line. When I questioned why that was necessary, as it made no logical sense, she told me I could “go ahead and cancel” my order instead. This kind of attitude is unacceptable from anyone representing McDonald’s, especially a manager. Mary clearly has no interest in providing good customer service or encouraging repeat business. I will not be returning to this location and would appreciate being contacted by the district manager to discuss this matter further.
