  my spouse and I pick up and deliver orders. This is our 3rd verbal and written complaint regarding this particular Chipotle location. On Friday February 27th between 3:45 - 4pm, I walked into this location to pick up an order and stood beside a Hispanic woman who was also picking up an order. I witnessed the woman show her phone to the worker on duty to disclose who she is picking up for, take a picture of the order, receive it and walk away. I then proceeded to show my phone to the associate to inform her who I am picking up for. I took the picture and confirmed the order. However, the associate requested that she see my phone again to see proof of confirmation. I then asked her why she did not follow this same protocol with the previous person. She did not answer and instead took the bag and placed it back on the shelf and walked away. There was another woman there who I believe works there but was not on the clock and dressed in regular clothes that was talking to the associate during this time and witnessed the entire incident. I requested speaking to a manager as this is a recurring incident that truly needs to be resolved. As an individual approaches me, before I can explain what has transpired, there are multiple associates who were not involved and did not witness anything speaking Spanish and providing their input. Now this associate who I believe is the manager has not heard my explanation yet and is also refusing to hand me the order. I then calmly explain to her what happened and that this is a recurring issue that I have documented with corporate multiple times especially with the initial employee. I also mentioned to her that all the back and forth talk and hearsay does not matter. In fact, the only things that matter now is that there is a witness and cameras that are recording everything. I expect to be treated the same way you treat others in this professional establishment and I will inform corporate of the same. She then handed me the order and I proceeded on with doing my job. It is obvious that my previous complaints did not resolve this problem and so therefore I must take further action as I no longer wish to be subjected to what appears to be discriminatory practices.

  We ordered 2 veggie bowls. After adding rice, and 2 different beans , you could still see over half the bottom of the bowl! The portion size was so small the server would not even look up at me and the manager was standing next to her, speaking quietly in Spanish , she would not add any more than a teaspoon of each item. This was not the first issue we have had here at the Cleveland ave location. We have came in at 7pm and ordered Veggie bowls and told they did not have anymore veggies cooked and they would not cook anymore because they had already cleaned the grill. It was 7pm and at least 10 more people in line behind us. Another instance was they refused to add guacamole even though they had some on the bar for the take outs. We will not be back, 3 strikes your out!!!

  Scooped my rice and then proceeded to use her finger to get off the excess rice from the spoon that was all stuck too it. I told her I wanted more rice than that anyways please since she did also give me the smallest scoop everand she said it’s $1.60 extra with the biggest attitude!!I’ve been too many chipotle’s never have they told me that to add some more rice It’s extra , I just spoke with Customer support and they said that they are not allowed to charge me extra fried rice so what is going on here??? I would really like to know why she tried charging me extra for rice???

  Food is terrible, portions are terrible. Staff is rude. I don’t need to say much as the reviews cover most the issues, but one thing I noticed about this disgusting chipotle. Their queso is chunky and orange. It’s definitely not made the same way as other chipotle’s or it’s old. If you go to any other chipotle the queso is queso blanco and smooth. Not orange and chunky like cheap processed queso. The steak is consistently chewy and full of fat and gristle as none of them have any ability to use a knife. The portions are laughable. Save your time and money go to the colonial or GCTC chipotle. If you do go to this chipotle, make sure you complain online to pepper to get your free entree vouchers. Every time I eat here I make sure to complain as they always ruin my order and pepper refunds me in full. Disgusting, disgrace of a chipotle. The workers should be ashamed. When they close this chipotle down the community will benefit.

  Even though the staff was polite the portion of rice was so small compared to any other Chipotle i have been. This message is for the manager or owner who is charging for extra rice when the amount given is half of what other Chipotle's give. I guarantee the business you will lose due to charging for extra rice will hurt this store financially more than the money they will make charging for extra rice. I eat at numerous Chipotle's throughout the state and rarely have to ask for extra rice, but when I do I am Never charged.
