I frequently visit the Cava on Daniels Parkway, where both the food and service are usually good.
This time, I was coming back from a trip, had just left the airport hungry, and decided to stop at this other location. Unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience.
The service was poor, and the food did not feel fresh nor meet the usual quality I expect from the brand. It was nothing like the experience I’ve had at other locations.
It’s disappointing to see such a big difference between stores. This location definitely needs improvement.

I had an unsatisfactory customer service experience during my visit to this store. From the beginning, the staff member assisting me her name JaMariyah did not properly use the necessary tools to provide efficient service, which led to confusion and unnecessary delays.
In addition, there was a lack of clear explanation regarding an additional charge that needed to be paid. This information was not communicated in a timely or transparent manner, which negatively impacted my experience as a customer. Clear pricing communication is essential when providing service.
What was most concerning was learning that this employee later made a comment to the Store Manager, Joel, referring to me as “cranky.” I find this comment unprofessional and inappropriate. As a customer, I was simply requesting clear information and proper assistance.
I value professionalism, respect, and clear communication when receiving customer service. Unfortunately, those standards were not met during this visit. I hope this feedback is taken constructively to improve staff training and the overall customer experience.

have always been a regular customer at this place, as it used to be a restaurant I trusted to come to with my family. Unfortunately, the experience we had on the night of 01/04 was extremely disappointing and very concerning.
From the moment we arrived, the service was terrible. The staff was rude, unprofessional, and showed no interest in providing proper customer service. It felt like we were an inconvenience rather than paying customers.
The food was even worse. It had a strange and unusual taste, which immediately raised concerns about its freshness and quality. After eating, the food made me sick, something that should never happen at any restaurant.
What worries me the most is that I cannot and will not expose my children to eating this type of food. As a parent, the safety and health of my family come first, and this experience was completely unacceptable.
Because of this situation, I strongly believe the Health Department should inspect this restaurant, as there appear to be serious issues with food safety, cleanliness, and food handling practices.
It is very disappointing to see how much this place has declined. I do not recommend it at all, and I will not be returning unless major changes are made to ensure customer safety

A Choose Your Own Adventure… Except I Didn’t Choose
Ordered a pita sandwich. Got a garlic dressing surprise party instead of tzatziki. Asked for tzatziki on the side? Nope. Asked for actual pita bread? Also nope. It’s like Cava Fort Myers is playing hard mode.
But wait, there’s more! They swapped my braised lamb for lamb meatballs without even a “hey, is this cool?” Just full autonomy over my lunch choices. Bold move, Cava. BOLD.
I appreciate creativity, but I didn’t realize I was ordering from the “dealer’s choice” menu. Next time maybe just text me and ask what I actually want? Revolutionary concept, I know.
The food that showed up was fine… it just wasn’t what I ordered. Which is kind of the whole point of ordering.

After a long day of flight delays, we arrived at CAVA about 10 minutes before closing, expecting to grab food and head back out on the road. Instead, we were met with some of the kindest, most welcoming staff we’ve encountered in a long time.
We still had a couple of hours left to drive and nowhere else to eat, and the team graciously allowed us to dine in while they closed and cleaned, never once making us feel rushed or like an inconvenience. They even checked in on us to make sure everything was okay. The food was fresh, delicious, and incredible, especially considering it was the very end of the day. The hospitality alone would have won us over, but paired with such great food, it sealed the deal. This experience truly turned a stressful travel day around. Customer for life. Thank you to the entire team for going above and beyond.
