  Even sitting on the porch, the atmosphere was still surprisingly loud, which made it difficult to fully relax or hold a comfortable conversation. The energy is very high throughout the venue, but it does feel a bit overwhelming at times rather than lively in a balanced way. The freshly made guacamole was definitely a highlight — very tasty, fresh, and well-seasoned, and it stood out as one of the stronger items on the table. The pork belly was also enjoyable, with good texture and decent flavor. However, the Mahi Mahi tacos were a bit disappointing. They came across as dry, with not much depth of flavor, and didn’t quite deliver the freshness or punch you would expect. The second round of cocktails also didn’t match the first — noticeably less balanced and a bit underwhelming compared to the initial drinks. Overall, it’s a place with a strong social vibe and a few solid dishes, but the experience felt inconsistent, especially in terms of food execution and maintaining quality across drinks and courses.

  Well, we were hoping reviews posted thet were not positive were maybe wrong and gave it a try. But sadly, as others have stated, this place has lack luster mediocre at best food, poor service, watered down completely forgettable drinks and just basic Mexican restaurant decor and nothing to write home about. Essentially, my wife's shrimp tacos were 2 tortillas with just 3 pieces of sad flavorless shrimp, that she had to ask for some lettuce to try and spruce up. Same thing with my dry chicken tacos. And for the kicker, they advertise wonderful happy hour drink specials, just to find out after ordering drinks at our table during happy hour, that they only honor this at the few seats at their bar inside but no where else in the restaurant. Pretty funny also considering we still paid full price for the corona we walked to the bar to get when our waiter dissappeared. All this for $109 with tip. Yes, do yourself a favor and spent your money wisely and stay clear of this utter waste of time and money place!

  I’ve always loved coming here! The food never disappoints. I’m not a huge fan of guacamole, but it’s soooo good here. Marcella is an awesome server! Great attitude and great recommendations! Will be back again…. And again!

  Food was amazing, HOWEVER, the service was HANDS DOWN the worst service I have ever had anywhere. It started with taking FOREVER to get drink refills, then the server caught MAJOR attitude once we asked for the check to be separated. So much attitude that we asked that gratuity be removed. She then proceeded to say since I have waited on y’all for free for the past hour (mind you we never said we weren’t tipping just didn’t think she earned the $32 gratuity) I need you to pay your bill and leave my table. I have never met anyone so rude that was working for tips. Will not go back simply because of the shitty server.

  I used to love this place and have been coming here for years, but it has really gone downhill since Kara and Chrissy left. I kept giving it chances, hoping things would improve, but tonight was the final straw. The manager working around 5pm on 4/3/26 was incredibly rude and unprofessional. My girlfriend and I were singled out and treated unfairly over our service dog, which was completely unacceptable. They’ve now lost a loyal, local regular who used to recommend this place all the time. It’s honestly disappointing to see how far this place has declined. Definitely won’t be coming back.
