  Staff prepared the wrong item and when I showed her my app with my correct order she said “ I already made that” and walked away.

  The service was absolutely horrendous, items are expired, facilities are damaged, bathroom had the toilet seat broken. Food was spoiled. They gave items that where previously open. Health department should give them a visit.

  When me and my party walked in staff was very rude. The lady making the orders did not provide any information even though the orders were incomplete and not done in time. One of the bottles of water provided was opened and the bathroom was dirty and with broken stuff. The strawberries on the bowl were spoiled. Horrible experience

  First time at this location today and unfortunately I didn't check the reviews. I tried to order breakfast this morning at 7:12 after working a 12 hour shift. On google it said they were open and app said they open at 7:00 and my food would be ready by 7:23. Got there, sat and waited in my car until 7:26. When I went to the store door it was locked, the open sign wasn't on and nobody was inside. Waited another 5 minutes and tried calling the phone but no one answered and the app said I couldn't cancel the order because it was put in for “ASAP” (which is another thing tropical needs to fix with their app there should be some kind of confirmation though the app and online system that an employee received the order and are working on it and that the customer received it). So after a few minutes I left. Even throughout the day when I called no-one answered the phone. I ended up going to another Tropical Smoothie 20 minutes away (all while being tired and hungry) to order my food but they said they couldn't help me with getting a refund because they aren't affiliated with the store (also that this specific location is very sketchy and people always have issues ordering here) and there isn't a corporate number I can call. So unfortunately I have to wait for someone to get back to me or try getting in touch with the store for a refund to the food and smoothie that I never collected.

  I want to begin by stating that I am a very frequent and loyal customer of Tropical Smoothie Cafe. I order from the company roughly three times a week, every week. While I do not typically visit the Cordova Road location, it was the most convenient stop for me on my way to work this morning. Unfortunately, today’s experience was by far one of the worst I have ever had with this brand. Despite placing my order online more than 40 minutes before arriving, I walked into the café only to find that neither my smoothie nor my sandwich had even been started. The only employee present was the same individual I later recognized from numerous negative reviews posted over the last 6–7 months—reviews that describe her as rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful. Sadly, those reviews were entirely accurate. I repeatedly attempted to get this employee’s attention, speaking out loud several times, and she blatantly ignored me. Her overall attitude and pace of work were slow, dismissive, and shockingly unprofessional. After waiting far beyond a reasonable amount of time with no acknowledgment whatsoever, I was forced to leave the establishment without receiving anything I paid for—and as a result, I arrived late to work. What is even more concerning is the clear pattern reflected in the online reviews. Customers have been reporting the exact same issues, with the exact same employee, for months. The fact that nothing has changed shows a complete lack of accountability and disregard from both management and ownership. Allowing an employee who has numerous documented complaints, including photos, to continue providing this level of service demonstrates that customer experience is simply not a priority at this location. I will never return to this store again, and I will strongly discourage others from visiting as well. It is unacceptable for a franchise with the reputation of Tropical Smoothie Cafe to ignore such ongoing problems. I truly hope corporate takes these repeated complaints seriously, because the Cordova Road location is damaging the brand and driving loyal customers away.
