In the mood for Italian, I went on a google search of the best restaurant in the area and Louie Bossi did not disappoint. With no reservations and a full house I was still able to get a table for two in less than an hour.
The ambiance is beautiful and the staff is hospitable. Our waiter Valentine was very attentive and professional with a sense of humor that kept us laughing all night.
10/10 experience and I can’t wait to try it again. The food was absolutely delicious and we were surprised to enjoy Martini Mondays, that we had no clue was going on.
Pictured is Calamari fritti, rigatoni bolognese and alla vodka pizza. If I could pick a favorite, I would be lying.
Looking forward to my next visit, I want to enjoy the back patio seating. <3
An experience that I recommend having, the Restaurant has three types of environments, I went to the garden and fell in love, the delicious bread, moistened in olive oil and a bit of red pepper, and the pasta uff! Super delicious, my husband and I had a great time, if you go to know the restaurant, in Fort Lauderdale, ask for lunch in the garden to be attended by Kriston, it is super nice and fun! You will be aware that you enjoy your time and your food, I do not drink alcohol and the alternatives that Kriston offered me were delicious, this restaurant is spectacular and the food, the amazing chefs, the people who attend are all friendly and polite, offer good service, the bathrooms beautiful and clean, the truth is that I enjoy a lot!

I had a homemade pasta with a lemon cream sauce which was very delicious. My husband had a sausage pizza and my son got the kids plain pizza. Both pizzas were very wet. The dough couldn't hold the pizza and the whole thing was a sloppy mess; not in a delicious way. The kids pizza is not a cheese pizza, it's more like a margarita pizza with small dots of mozzarella in a sauced dough and should really be listed as such. I've found that most kids can be very picky with food. I never would have ordered this pizza for a child. We had reservations several weeks ahead of time and I asked for a booth. We were seated quite literally in the galley part of the kitchen. It was very loud and seemed like a tense area with a ton of foot traffic. The head chef even dropped an F bomb at one point. I know he was the head chef, because the waiters keept referring to him that way, "yes Chef".

As a long time patron of Louie Bossi, I was truly disappointed by the customer service I received while trying to reserve specific seating for my nephew’s 18th birthday. I completely understand that restaurants have policies, and I was respectful of that. However, I made a specific and kind request to mark a very special occasion for our family.
Unfortunately, the conversation with the general manager, Chad, was cut abruptly when he hung up the phone on me. I called back to give him the opportunity to correct the exchange, but there was no apology and no attempt to make the situation right.
Because of the way the interaction was handled, I ultimately canceled the reservation. There are many lovely establishments in the area that are accommodating and reflect the level of class and professionalism we look for in the places we choose to support. This experience was disappointing, especially as someone who has supported this restaurant for years.

My friend made reservations for this place about a month in advance as this place was highly recommended. We arrived for our reservation at 6:15pm, and were expecting to be seated but we were told that the table was not ready and we waited for over 45 minutes. This was definitely not a good start to our dinner but thankfully the food turned things around.
We were seated in the back patio, the setting was very pretty. For appetizers we ordered the meatballs and fried calamari. The meatballs were so flavorful and the sauce was delicious. I'm not usually a fan of meatballs but these were exceptional.
For my main course I got the rigatoni bolognese. The bolognese sauce was made with braised beef and veal. It was hearty and nicely seasoned. The portions are large and good for sharing. For dessert, we got the tiramisu. This was so delicious, probably the best tiramisu I've had.
The food here was excellent. My only concern is that they should honor their reservation times. If you come with small inpatient children or are on a tight schedule, having to wait almost an hour past your reservation time is very inconvenient.
