This was the first time that I came with my family to this new restaurant because it was recommended from family friends! To start off, the atmosphere was amazing the restaurant had nice view and the decorations of the restaurant made me feel like I was in a garden! The food was very good and delicious on that part I had no issues! The service was horrible, our server was shawn. We had a horrible experiment with him, to begin he didn’t even greet our table, he rushed us and said that he needed us to tell him what we want because the kitchen was going to close in 10 minutes, which was a lie because it was 9:45pm and then later that night we saw another server take other peoples orders. Our table was not comfortable, there was a pole in the middle of the table and we couldn’t see each other. We asked Shawn if it was okay if we could change our table and he said that we had to ask the hostess. We ended up changing our table and when he brought our plates he threw them on the table and switched our server, he didn’t even come up to us and tell us that he was doing that transition. Not even that but my daughter asked him for a strawberry mocktail and he gave her a strawberry mojito with alcohol and never asked for her ID and she is underage. He also messed up our order and never gave my son in law his order. After that we had a wonderful server, her name was Camila, very attentive and eager to give us the best service. She kept coming up to us and asking if everything was okay and if we needed anything.

TLDR: if you have a dog, the manager says they spray pesticides on the back patio turf area...
Only writing this to critique the managers. Our server was excellent. The manager at the front (blue shirt) doesn't seem to understand how to talk to people in a respectful manner or deal with people in general...
while waiting to put my name in, I was standing in line with my 10 lb dog and servers were swiftly turning corners, so I picked her up because I was worried about her getting stepped on. I approach the host stand and before I can say anything , he tells me I need to put the dog on the ground .... I explain that I'm not intending to walk into the restaurant with her .. I'm just making sure she doesn't get stepped on... he proceeds to tell me that people are eating and it's not very sanitary to carry my dog through the restaurant.... I again explained I just didn't want her to get stepped on... I asked for a table in the back patio area and he said it's reservation only and it's an up charge .. I've been going to this restaurant for years and have never heard anything like this . I walked out upset, feeling like this manager had some sort of problem with me and my fiance, because this type of treatment seemed unwarranted and unecessary . I walked out to call the store to ensure the information he gave was correct, just to find out it wasn't the case .... the woman on the phone says it's first come first serve, so we could have waited for a table, but then went on to say she doesn't recommend dogs on the patio due to all the pesticides they spray to keep away rodents ...
We eventually do get seated by a manager named Ryan, who was much kinder and more understanding and go about our dining experience ... out of nowhere, the other manager comes up after we've already paid because my dog started barking . I was about to get up and leave and he approaches, saying, "do you mind? Do you mind? My guests are just trying to enjoy their meal and your dog is in the way". I asked them if I was disturbing them and he told me to "stop harassing [his] guests" and I needed to leave. I feel as though he was targeting me and my fiance from the beginning with no real reason. There were other people in the restaurant with dogs, and my dog was well behaved the entire time. She barked towards the end when I was about to leave and had already paid our tab and tipped the server very well, and that's when he decided to approach me to start an altercation.
Overall, our server was excellent and the manager named Ryan was understanding , but the guy in the blue shirt was unecessarily abrasive towards us and didn't make us feel welcomed .

Beautiful place and great food, but disappointing service.
We came to Louis Bossi on Las Olas for my birthday. The host was very friendly and seated us on the terrace. The place is beautiful, but the ceiling fans were blowing extremely hard on us. Our waitress told us they could not be turned off, but the manager came over and kindly fixed the issue within minutes.
The food and drinks were excellent, but the service from our waitress was not. She was cold, unhelpful, and the wine discount she mentioned was not applied to the bill. She corrected it, but without any apology.
Beautiful restaurant and amazing manager, but the service from our waitress really needs improvement.

We visited Louis Bossi recently with a large group — 16 of us — and I have to say, the service was honestly better than expected for such a big party. The staff did a great job keeping things organized, and everyone was attentive and pleasant throughout the evening. That part definitely deserves some praise.
As for the food, it was just… okay. Not bad, but not great either. Maybe it’s me and I’m not the best judge, but I felt the dishes didn’t quite live up to all the hype surrounding this place. The flavors were fine but nothing memorable, especially for a restaurant with such a strong reputation.
One thing that stood out, unfortunately, was the pricing — the food felt quite expensive for what we got. I don’t mind paying a premium for a great meal, but in this case, the value just wasn’t there.
Parking is also something to keep in mind. Street parking is pretty limited in the area, and while there’s a garage nearby, it requires a bit of a walk to get to the restaurant. Not a deal-breaker, but something worth noting if you’re planning a visit.
Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience by any means — the atmosphere was nice and the service was on point — but the food and pricing didn’t wow me. There are definitely other Italian spots out there that offer better value and more memorable flavors, in my opinion. Still, that’s just my personal experience, and I’d encourage others to try it and see what they think for themselves.
I wanted a fun, easy dinner in a lively spot; instead, this visit was work. After being seated, it took at least 15 minutes before anyone took our order. Several staff, including a manager, walked by during that stretch. That set the tone. All night I felt I had to ask for everything at once because I had no idea when our server would return. I also received a dirty knife, which didn't help first impressions.
Food was uneven. The seafood pasta arrived hot but salty. The chicken parmesan was barely lukewarm, as was the side of spaghetti, and part of the chicken was actually on the cold side. The pizza was a saga: the one we ordered was “unavailable,” the backup our server suggested was also “unavailable,” and we finally landed on a cheese pizza. Credit where it’s due—the cheese pizza was good.
Prices made the misses sting: $33 for the limp chicken parm, $37 for the salty seafood pasta, and $22 for the fallback pizza. There was some kind of show going on, and I understand that can pull attention in different directions. Still, we paid full price for what felt like a half-strength experience.
Bottom line: frustrating service, inconsistent execution, and premium pricing that was not backed up by the meal we received. Unlikely to return.
