Amazing burger. Got the special with Canadian bacon and cheese. They allowed me to get a Cesar salad instead of fries.

Visited Big City Tavern on a Wednesday evening. The outdoor patio was packed, so we opted to eat inside. We were seated at a sizable leather booth table that could have easily accommodated 4, so the 2 of us had plenty of room. Our server Tony greeted us and took our drink order. We opted to split a few appetizers for our meal. We ordered the pretzel with cheese dip and mustard; the smoked fish dip; and the Asian chicken wings. The pretzel was a large Bavarian style soft pretzel. Both dipping sauces were very good and complemented the pretzel well. The fish dip was chunkier than I liked and served inside a mason jar like container with a cocktail form, with 4 pieces of soft pita and pickled onions and jalapeños. We asked for more pita as we still had about half the container left when the first pieces were finished. Tony brought us out 4 more pieces and it was the perfect amount. The chicken wings seemed to be twice fried. The sauce was tasty, though I would have been happy with more of it on the wing. But I dipped the crispy skin in the little pool of sauce on the bottom of the ramekin and made it work. The ginger ranch dip served with it worked well with the wing too. We saved some room for dessert and shared a crème brûlée cheesecake. For a Wednesday on Las Olas, they had a good crowd. We were pretty easy customers I thought. I would go back to try other entrees too!

I didn't have the food but the drinks....... delicious 😋. They make the smoothest dirty Martini I have ever had in my life so far. We also got an espresso martini and a Paloma.......all delicious!!!! Made drinks from any other place feel disappointing. The food looked really good but we had already eaten beforehand. The staff and the atmosphere also made this place stand out in the best way!

Wow! Big City Tavern exceeded all my expectations!
The lobster mac & cheese is absolutely to die for — hands down the best I’ve ever had! The lobster meat was super tender and juicy, the mashed potatoes were creamy and delicious, and the mocktail drinks were so refreshing.
Honestly, I can’t believe this was my first time coming here. The food did take a little longer to come out, but it was totally worth the wait. Everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. Definitely adding this spot to my favorites!
