I have been to this restaurant many times and have had many enjoyable experiences, but today left a bad taste in my mouth. My family and I wanted to have a late lunch. We were a party of six, plus two babies in strollers. We eat out often and have never had an issue finding a table that can accommodate all of us. For some odd reason, the hostess was extremely flustered with our strollers and kept repeatedly asking if there were babies in the strollers. We told her yes, and watched her try to figure out where to seat us. In the process she walked by my 5 year old son, who was not doing anything other than standing and waiting like the rest of us, and she ordered him multiple times, “stay, you stay!” He was not moving and she really had no reason to be short with him or annoyed in any way. Rather than continue to wait around for her to figure out how to do her job, we decided to leave. I have never had to leave any restaurant because of a rude hostess, but there’s a first time for everything.

This was our Oregon Ducks celebratory meal with my parents! This was a last minute find- and we were able to make a reservation within an hour. it had good reviews and food looked good. This place is located right on the main street and very busy!! Even though we were 40 minutes early- they seated us as soon as we got there. The hostess and the guy that showed us to the table were not personable- which was a bad start. We were seated right by the bar- which was fun!- but someone brought their big over sized poodle with them which was very annoying. People had to walk over, or around the dog as he took up so much room around the bar. Then! Someone brought a smaller dog near the dog- which made them both fight!! This is why dogs should never be in an eating establishment- unless it's outdoors. BCT should be aware of human allergies and the 99% of paying customers that are visiting. Food was good, though, and service was ok.

Had a fantastic experience when visiting Las Olas. Patrick our server was friendly and attentive. What appeared to be a manager/owner in blue shirt at the front was efficient and friendly and was helping clean up and set tables during the busy night. This place has high levels of sanitation and cleanliness which I love to see.

The food was good, but the meat could use more seasoning. I had the Chicken Milanese (plus olives). The chicken was a bit bland but the breading had a nice texture/crunch. My siblings also said the meat on their burgers was bland. On the bright side, the crème brûlée was exquisite. Our server, Grace, was wonderful.
