  Absolutely love it here! In a span of a week we came back 4 times and each time the food, vibes, and staff were amazing! Family friendly and fireee food! Chino, Leydis, and Rolo made us feel at home. Definitely our go to spot from now on.

  Food is amazing, but absolutely no one told us that we would be charged a 20% service fee until we got our check. And then on top of that, you have to tip your waitress/waiter because they only get a tiny percentage. That, and already super expensive sushi is probably why you're going out of business.

  Our group went on a Thursday night. The area where we were sitting had 2 more tables, so as far as I know it was not crowded. The food was good but the service was average. In addition to the average service, I was surprised when, upon paying, the waitress disclosed that there was a 10% service charge already included in the bill. My issue is not about the percentage or the money itself since it was only about a couple of dollars. My issue is with the lack of communication and the service that was given. I felt that they should have disclosed the 10% service charge when they initially sat us down. Also, including a 10% service charge in the bill without the patrons allegedly having any say and then providing average service, is not good. The waitress or bar tender forgot about my friend's drink order, so she got it when the rest of the group had already eaten. At that point, they brought the drink as a comp but my friend didn't want the drink since she was driving and we were close to leaving the establishment. She actually only took maybe two sips out of the comp drink. I still tipped on top of the 10% because I know that restaurant waiters or waitresses rely on tips, but unless this was a one off mistake, the waiters and waitresses should strive to provide a better service. I would give this place a second chance since the food, atmosphere and location were good.

  Echoing the last review, the service here is awful now. We’ve been to this location multiple times, birthdays, Dominican Independence Day, casual outings, and with groups of friends. During our last visit, we genuinely could not get service. The three servers walked past us multiple times serving everyone else and avoided us completely. We asked for drinks and were actively ignored. It was incredibly uncomfortable. The only person who spoke to us was the gentleman doing the hookah service. I had to go up to the bar on the other side of the restaurant to get us drinks and bring them back. And it’s not like we were drunk, rowdy, or there just for a free shot and leaving; we were hoping to spend a few hours and hang out there, but the servers made us so uncomfortable we had our one drink, barely finished the hookah, and left. I’m super disappointed because I can’t help but think that it’s because they assumed we couldn’t speak Spanish (even though we do) or what it was, but to not even make eye contact with us is incredibly rude. We’ll need to find a new favorite spot, because we definitely won’t be back anytime soon.
