  Highly recommend. Food was fantastic. Great happy hour 4-7pm with many appetizer bite deals. Live music. Plenty of free parking.

  Service was less than expected. Waiter mixed up wines we ordered. One was to be alcohol free and he mixed them up. Wait staff very inattentive -non caring. The atmosphere was we really could care less whether or not you come here or not.

  Love the bar listening to Danny O and Jim Bannach on Saturday evenings... great food, entertainment, service and cocktails.., what else could we ask for? 5 star!

  So I may not be a Goomba but I do appreciate and love good Italian food. After getting several personal recommendations this was a place we wanted to try. The atmosphere and service is all old style and exactly what you'd expect at a great traditional Italian restaurant. I'm afraid we had to knock it down to star for the food. The bread was warm and while the first rool I had was fresh and delicious the second one was actually a little stale as was my partners. Kind of strange. But the garlic oil drizzle they bring out is phenomenal. Just add a dash of salt and pepper and you could eat that on anything. We had the super Tuscan wine by the glass which was also delicious.. We got the arancini lobster as an appetizer. The sauce was fantastic. You you get five small arancini balls, I'm used to the larger ones. All in all very well done and you can really taste the lobster. I got the lasagna alla Bolognese that so many have talked about in reviews. This one is actually new to me in the Northern style. Very rich and fine ground meat ragu with only a touch of tomato paste with very thin sheets of pasta covered in a bechamel sauce. Flavor was good for a few bites but honestly it was hard to make it through it and I ended up leaving a good chunk on the plate. The consistency is almost like a pate, and then with the bechamel its a very heavy dish. So my bad I guess and if that's your vibe then go for it. But I would actually prefer more red sauce and the taste of fresh herbs and garlic, and the meat not minced. My partner got the clams and linguine in red sauce which is her favorite and also go to test dish for any Italian place she's trying for the first time. She was disappointed as well. The clams were good and they did add chopped clams to the dish to get it meatier. The pasta portion was correct, not a huge amount which is a good thing. But the sauce was extremely watery and would not stick to the pasta at all. So she ended up having to use a spoon to drink it like a soup after a bite of pasta or clam. The pasta itself was also just okay and we assumed must be made fresh at a place like this but honestly could not differentiate from a dried box pasta. Lastly there were huge chunks of fresh sliced garlic you had to pick around. Would have been nice if they had cooked that off just a bit to get the flavor without pure raw garlic, which sometimes made it into a bite unintentionally. So hopefully this was an aberration and we do want to give this place another go. I was actually going to go with three stars overall, which I did for the food, but service and atmosphere barely got it up to a four.
