  We had a great time experiencing Big City Tavern. This was my second visit for the page. I’ve been coming here for years for a reason. We started with a few apps. Our favorite was the Coconut Crusted Shrimp! The dipping sauce on this is delicious and pairs perfectly. The Main Lobster Mac & Cheese was very rich and cheesy! Great for sharing! Best bite of the night was the Wagyu Top Sirloin Steak… it was cooked perfectly and seared just how I like it! The mashed potatoes that came with it were creamy and buttery. And if you’ve never had their Chocolate Mousse Tavern Cake, give it a try next time. Delicious! I also enjoyed the Smoked old Fashioned.. Very smooth and smokey.   The place seemed very nice. Seating was good. Atmosphere was very good. We had a little bit of a ditzy waitress. Got a few orders wrong. And the bill was completely wrong two or three times. It just took an extra 20 or 30 minutes to get it figured out. But she was still nice. Just a little bit overwhelmed.

  Very well placed on Las Olas, our lunch was excellent. Tomato and basil soup and chcken parmesan on sourdough with fries. Very filling and delicious. Service was superb and the coat for two reasonable at 40 bucks.
