  Went in today to place a to go order. The dark hair lady at the bar was extremely rude. I asked for a menu 3 times because she acted as if she didn’t understand me .. I had my hand out for her to give it to me and she slammed it on the table. I then told her I was ready to place my order , she just stood at the computer which was far from where I was sitting so I had to practically yell my order because she wouldn’t come closer. I ended up saying forget it and left. She said I hope you have a better day as I wakes out. She didn’t want to serve me only because I interrupted her flirting with the only customer at the bar. Very rude and unprofessional. She’s lucky I decided to keep walking.

  We tried this café today and had a mixed but overall decent experience. The menu offers a great variety of options, and the prices are very reasonable, which we appreciated. The food itself was okay—nothing bad, but not especially memorable. For example, the biscuits and gravy fell a bit short. The biscuits were small and slightly dry, which could have worked if there had been more gravy. We did ask for an extra side, and to their credit, they kindly didn’t charge us for it. Service was a highlight—friendly, welcoming, and attentive. We also really liked the outdoor seating and the fact that it’s dog-friendly, which is a big plus. One area that definitely needs attention is cleanliness in the bathroom. The trash was overflowing, and the floors had visible dirt and debris, which detracted from the overall experience. With a few improvements to food consistency and upkeep, this place has solid potential.

  Lyanna was a great server, she was knowledgable of the menu and friendly when taking our orders. The church style donuts were delicious. Delicate in flavor and perfectly crispy. The scramble bowl dish we had was good, it was not very pronounced when it came to flavor, but the portion was absolutely perfect!

  It was my first time coming the food was amazing, my waitress was amazing she helped out by giving me a few option to choose from i got the Rocky Mountain omelette and it was delicious my waitress name was Christin she was wonderful I will most definitely will be coming back when I am on the side of town

  My first visit to the Toasted Yolk was a very pleasant one. I was greeted by my friendly waitress, Kristin, who said that she had a surprise for me while I perused the menu. She brought out two fresh fried cinnamon and sugar donuts with some caramel to dip them in. I ordered my breakfast which was delicious and the pricing was very reasonable. I will definitely be returning to the Toasted Yolk!
