  BEWARE if you have ALLERGIES! We were celebrating my son’s 21st birthday and my husband chose the sea bass and was offered “a tomato and onion side salad”. The side salad had peanuts in it and he went home and threw up for the next 10 hours. He wasn’t able to do the fishing charter the next which was why we came to the keys. It completely ruined the birthday weekend. The restaurant didn’t even comp his dinner despite him having to leave before the meal was even served. Absolute disgusting service.

  We’ve been coming to Hawks Cay for an annual week-long family vacation for several years, and we just tried the new onsite Salt + Ash resturant for the first time—what a great experience. This was one of the best meals we’ve ever had. My family of four was truly impressed. The food was exquisite and beautifully presented, and the quality and taste were phenomenal. Throughout the evening, I kept hearing “wow” from my wife and two daughters. This is a must-visit restaurant. A special thank you to Faith for her outstanding service—it truly made for a wonderful family dinner, especially at a very reasonable price. We will definitely be back next time we’re here.   I give this a 5 star for sure. The taste was to die for. The flavor just burst in your mouth. It was 11 of us at the table and everyone was pleased with their selection. The presentation was outstanding. Compliments to the chef.

  Enjoyed every part of my dinner served by the impressive Mr. Ryan. Highly recommend finishing off your meal with some insanely good gingerbread!!

  Best meal I’ve ever had in the Keys. My husband and I travel all over the world and frequent Michelin starred restaurants. We were unsure how this meal would go based on reviews we came across. I’m not sure if the restaurant just had a few kinks to work out after they opened, but we had a 10/10 experience. The highlights for us were the Kill Dill cocktail, the grilled oysters, the tomato salad, and the key lime tart. We will be back!
