  Literally the worst place ever. Terrible food, terrible service, terrible atmosphere. I was there yesterday and I'm writing this review from the toilet at work, I have not been able to move since I ate here. My wife keeps calling me, but I guess the plus side is I haven't had to see her torta face for over twelve hours. I'll be back once the diarrhea subsides, thank you.

  We came to Destin for spring break and the kids asked for McDonald’s. They didn’t give my nephew his nuggets nor sauce to go with his meal. So I had to turn around and go back and ask for it. They act as if they had an attitude. Even when we ordered the meal and the staff who took the order got slick and said well u didn’t say another meal. Yes I did. As we are leaving and turn off headed to the beach to do our dolphin cruise, my son notices that he had no Big Mac sauce or nothing on his burger minus the meat. Angry is an understatement bc they weren’t even really busy when we went. I will never go back again.

  As a DoorDash driver, I frequently pick up orders from this McDonald’s location in Destin, and the experience has been consistently frustrating. The wait times for delivery orders are excessive. I have waited up to 30–35 minutes for a single order, which is unreasonable for a fast food restaurant. It clearly feels like delivery orders are not a priority, as drive-through and walk-in customers are consistently served first while drivers are left waiting with little to no communication. On top of that, employees often appear more focused on talking with each other or being on their phones rather than completing orders efficiently. When customers or drivers ask about delays, the responses are often rude or dismissive. One of the biggest issues is what happens near closing time. On multiple occasions, I have pulled up to the drive-through with an active order while the store was still open, and staff simply did not respond at all. I have sat at the speaker trying to get their attention, only to be ignored until I eventually had to leave. This has happened more than once and feels intentional. What makes this even more frustrating is the inconsistency. When I place my own personal pickup order, it is almost always ready within about 10 minutes. However, the quality of the food is often poor. Most recently, my burger patty was severely overcooked, and the sandwich was put together very sloppily—ingredients were uneven, falling out of the burger, and even the cheese was partially stuck to the box instead of on the sandwich. I am always respectful and professional when picking up orders, but the lack of urgency, poor quality control, and unprofessional behavior at this location make it extremely difficult to deal with. Management needs to address both the prioritization of delivery orders and the overall quality and professionalism of the staff.

  I am reporting ongoing issues at the McDonald’s location in Destin, FL. On multiple occasions late at night (around [put times like 10pm–1am]), the restaurant appears open but staff are not taking orders and leave customers waiting in the drive-thru for extended periods with no communication. This has happened several times, and it wastes customers’ time and creates frustration since the posted hours indicate the location should be open. Employees either do not respond at the speaker or tell customers they are closed after making them wait. This seems to be a repeated pattern, not a one-time issue. I am requesting that this situation be looked into and corrected, whether that means enforcing proper operating hours, improving staff accountability, or clearly communicating when the store is closed.

  Come on bro, seriously, why stay open until 1 am if you can’t serve food? Like 5 cars in the drive thru as we speak, not 1 car has moved in over 10 minutes., I would’ve left already if the car in front and behind me weren’t blocking me in, been here near 20 minutes now hoping someone can get served so I can leave. I might seriously fall asleep waiting, the franchisee should start paying a little better so they can get decent staff, I could’ve served all 5 of these cars by myself in this amount of time, I could’ve done it in the time it took to smash you on this review. I’m embarrassed for you it’s so bad.
