It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

    The food was basic. Sauce selection to hide the taste is available. I would go here before I went to burger king for sure. Don't bother if your in a hurry because the one good thing is you're food cooked to order.

    Stopped by Whataburger early morning couple weeks ago on my way out to fish, and had a great experience. The gentleman at the counter Henry was kind, personable, and made the wait genuinely enjoyable (I ordered a grilled chicken). The food came out fresh and tasted great. Excellent start to the day!

    They never seem to get your order right. Occasionally they do. Most of the time it takes a while for you to just get a burger. I never understood why. At least not when they are slow. You’d think if it’s slow it would be faster.

    Welp, I think it's official, Whataburgers new ownership has turned the fries into shit. Used to be some of the best fries in the fast food industry. I will visit other WB's before I make my final verdict. Maybe this particular joint just refries theirs. Anyways, at least the patty melt is still decent. Sad to say, my WB days are coming to an end. Tops Burgers in Fort Walton is the best & Five Guys.
