Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- CTColin Tourjee6 days ago5.0I was very impressed with the way the staff were able to handle the volume of customers on New Year's Eve/New Year's Day around 1am. I ordered online, through the app, and waited in line at the counter. I told them I was there to pick up a mobile order and they politely suggested I have a seat and wait for my order. When my order was ready they made sure I had my drink cup before I walked out (I usually forget that so thank God they did not forget). They always have gotten my order correct, even when I ask for, for example, no onions/extra pickles/pepperjack cheese, etc. This particular Whataburger location is in a heavy traffic area, but it can be accessed via back roads, which I find convenient, as a resident of the local neighborhood. The bathrooms are always clean and stocked despite the heavy use. This Whataburger gives Whataburgers a good name, in my opinion.
