  My husband and I went here for our 25 anniversary dinner as a nostalgic throwback since it’s the restaurant we ate at on our wedding day (the one in Honolulu). Jasmine was our server and she was super sweet! The food was good. Great memories!

  Walked right in and we were sat by the manager immediately. Then got drinks. But then waited over an hour for our food to come out. The place was not packed at all, but they only had one waitress. And she was doing amazing with what she had to work with. But maybe just that night they were understaffed but there was no host at the front, no bartender behind the bar. If you walk in and no on is at the front or behind the bar go somewhere else bc they are probably understaffed and it will take forever to get your food.

  We drove into Destin and chose this restaurant based on the location being next to the hotel. On the way to the hostess stand we were greeted by multiple staff members. They were all super friendly and ready to welcome us with a Hello and a smile. We decided to begin with a calamari as an appetizer. The fried calamari was overdone and it did not taste fresh. Dinner Items Ordered: Fried Chicken Tenders with French Fries, this plate was served with enough that we had leftovers. Fresh tasting and well cooked. Ribeye Steak with Mashed Potato, the steak was cooked to the proper temperature, well seasoned; however, the meat was not the best quality. Kids Rib Plate, decent portion for younger guest. The ribs were not able to be enjoyed due to them being a little spicy. Favorite Part of Visit: 1. Our server, Jasmine, was warm, friendly, and kind. We never had to ask for anything. We love the fact that she played trivia with us while we were waiting on our food. 2. Dessert, it would be worth another trip. The plating was so well executed on all of our desserts. They were all fresh, warm and absolutely delicious. The Strawberry Shortcake is not something I normally would purchase but I am so glad I did. It was a rich Shortcake with a cream layer underneath the ice cream. 3. Atmosphere, the entire staff was friendly. Very attentive to the customers. And it was fun reading all the different facts around the room.

  Our server Jasmine was wonderful, very attentive, kind, and prompt. Her trivia was well thought out and one of her questions genuinely stumped the table. Her and the kitchen's efforts made for a nice quick lunch for us after shopping, always appreciated.

  Location: execellent Service: very good Menue selection : very good Menue seasoning: less than good Potential: high potential but, execution and Menue seasonings and cook methods not good Menue option1: New Orleans (NO) shrimp with rice $25 and Gumbo $7cup Comments on plates: Gumbo $7 cup: Brown sauce good but, Lacked taste. Not NO quality NO shrimp w/ rice $25 - seasoning poor; shrimp over cooked and bland; rice no seasoning. Not NO quaility OA: Less than good…poor actually. Not recommended Menue option 2: Mahi-mahi with shrimp and mashed potatoes. $25. Potatoes were real mashed and good. Shrimp over cooked and bland. OA: less than good…poor actually. Not recommended Beer: Draft IPA. Taste way off. Either an old line not flushed or an old tap. Bad. Overall: Not recommended Recommendations: Better kitchen methods and seasonings benchmarking and more test kitchen taste tests (don’t be afraid of kicking up the seasoning); cooks training; flush your beer lines regularly Too bad…I went in with high expectations based on Menue
