  I ate dinner there once with my husband for date night and ordered take out a few days later for me my husband and my two kids. We ordered the ceviche, chicken bowl, tamarind carrots, baked plantains, and the passion fruit mousse and gluten free cake. The food is absolutely gorgeous and tastes spectacular. I feel so good after my meal and that is so important to me so I know the ingredients are top notch. The have gluten free, dairy free, and vegan options which I am all the above. The entire staff makes you feel so happy and welcome and so important…I even got to meet the chef and this place is just five stars all around I’d give them more if it was allowed!

  The place wins you over almost before you have had the chance to understand it. The welcome is warm and easy, the menu is tightly composed without ever seeming sparse, and the room holds a calm that gently pushes the outside world out of view. Nothing calls for attention, yet every detail feels so perfectly at ease with the next that settling in becomes second nature and the thought of leaving feels unexpectedly unwelcome.

  Andy & his wife are doing something amazing!! Their food is amazing!! Definitely a strong focus on quality. You can tell by the way he speaks about their restaurant, how much love and attention is placed within it. The duck empanadas are tasty and have an amazing, unique sauce. The plantains were perfectly balanced between sweet and savory, wholesome without being overpowering. The passionfruit slaw had such a great complimentary spin on coleslaw that I’ve ever seen. The mole had a deep flavor accompanied with a hearty yucca mash. And the tamarind glazed carrots were cooked perfectly, while the real stand out star were the beans!! And the bread pudding was all encompassing crispy, spongy, rich, eggy, semi-sweet, and finished so strong. Thanks again, will definitely revisit and rave to others!!!

  It’s not a fancy place and it is hidden in the back of the industrial park that also boasts the outstanding Baba’s Pierogies. We started by sharing the duck empanada, served with a small but well dosed bowl of sweet bbq sauce. The empanada was air fried, as the owner eschews frying with oil, and there are many vegan options in the menu. We also shared the chicken mole and camarones al ajillo, both served on a bed of mashed yuca. The mole was perfect, and I have a high standard. We also enjoyed the sangria and lemonade, which was not overly sweet. For desert we tried the mango bread pudding, recommended by our server. This is a very special place, with great food and service. Try it.
