Inspired by its Miami roots and a recipe for fresh 24-hour citrus marinated chicken, Pollo Tropical began offering guests across Florida a creative take on traditional Cuban dishes, as well as foods from other parts of Latin America, over 35 years ago.
Since then, Pollo Tropical has been dedicated to preparing fresh, great tasting foods in their kitchens every day – like their signature Grilled Chicken and Mojo Roast Pork, served with the fan-favorite black beans and rice, in platters and TropiChop bowls.
At Pollo Tropical, authentic preparation, fresh ingredients, and a creative twist on traditional flavors is the perfect recipe for delicious craveable food. Come taste the passion!
Rica la comoda comida pero la última vez no supé la razón del cambio en mi pedido de churrasco, algo de desorden en las ordenes

Third time in a row where they completely messed up the order and gave me something completely opposite of what was ordered. I tried to give them several chances, but they obviously don't care. Hopefully management does something because their night crew is HORRIBLE. I will never come back to this location. STAY AWAY! The employees at this store don't care about your order and have no care about doing it correctly.. I'd give negative stars if I could.-I never normally leave reviews, especially negative ones, but this is just too much. Sorry.

Frankly it's not as it once was. Make sure your order is correct before you leave the place. Also for the employees, say when you run out of something not assume the customer will not be satisfied with more of the other. By this I mean when a person says I want this and that and those.

For the sake of clarity, I am talking about the Pollo Tropical on the east side of Atlantic just west of Military. The taste (but not the quality) of the food is inconsistent with and varies from the quality of other PT's, as is the case with the staff. Obviously I have a negative opinion of this particular PT and I gave them more than one chance. The meats have consistently not been seasoned well and the staff is consistently below par. I still gave it four stars so that the public would not mistake a one-star rating as being the rating for PT as a whole, I intend this one-star rating for this one particular location. Now, the PT just north of Gateway on the east side of Congress in Boynton Beach does the seasonings much better and the staff there are more polite, knowledgeable and helpful. I swear, I've eaten there a dozen times in the last 6 weeks, and there's plenty of food at home. Plus there's a 10% discount for seniors which I didn't know about and the cashier gave it to me! Not that I'm all that thrilled at being so recognizable as being a senior but then again I've been letting my hair grow and there's a fair amount of grey, so it's all good! The one criticism I would make is that there is a growing and expanding tilt toward non- Caribbean-Latino food items on the menu and all I can say is, why try to fix success? Stick with your original formula, gringos love Latin food, people are not standing on line for your coconut shrimp but for "comidas", if you know what I mean. Change for the sake of change is not the way to go.
