I had a great experience at this CAVA location. The food was fresh, flavorful, and prepared exactly how I asked. The team was friendly, efficient, and clearly worked well together, even during a busy time.
I especially want to recognize the General Manager, Veronica. She was present, professional, and genuinely attentive to both guests and her team. You can tell she takes pride in the restaurant and leads by example. The atmosphere felt welcoming and well organized, which made the whole visit even better.
Overall, this CAVA is well run, consistent, and a place I would definitely recommend and return to.

I love Cava, and have been to many across the nation, and was very excited to see one open up locally in Delray. However, the staff at this one is HORRIBLE! I’ve come here four times now, and each time the staff gets worse and worse. It almost feels like I’m a Burger King….
As an example, one time I asked for a receipt, and watched as the cashier disposed of mine as soon as it printed out. When I asked him for it, he argued with me and said he put it in the bag. When I showed him there was no receipt in the bag he continued to argue.
Further, I heard one staff member telling another to “explicit” off on another occasion.
Upper level management really needs to do something about this, especially considering this place just opened up. It won’t last, and Cava will get a negative reputation in the local area if they allow this to continue.
Management needs to do something about this.
Also, 8:00 at night and to be out of 2 proteins, 3 dressings, and 2 sides is unacceptable!

Waited over 20 minutes in line around 5pm despite there being six employees working the line. Most of them were talking and moving extremely slowly, and it was clear there was no sense of urgency. The only employee who seemed to know what he was doing was the man at the start of the line scooping the base.
The worst part was the checkout experience. The girl at the register had zero customer service skills and was outright rude. I asked for a bag because I was eating in but would have leftovers to take home. She refused and said that because I said I was eating in, she “couldn’t” give me a bag. Instead of using common sense, she argued with me about it. I finally said I’d take the order to go just so I could get a bag.
I work in food service, and this level of inefficiency and lack of basic customer service is unacceptable. This visit completely missed the mark and needs serious improvement.

I understand this a new restaurant but I’ve never seen anything like this. Around twenty people waiting on online orders and no manager came up to try to apologize or mitigate the situation.
I’ve been to the CAVA in North Carolina and was so excited for this one to open in Delray but they have oh so many kinks they need to iron out.
I asked if I could cancel my order after 30 minutes of waiting and was told they were unable to do that in store and I’d have to go online. I understand dinner/lunch rushes happen but not trying to ask people what names they’re waiting for or even acknowledging that we’re all there is ridiculous. They had two girls working on these takeout orders and it took over twenty minutes for a manager to finally start to help them. I’ve worked in food service for over ten years and I’ve never seen something like this. Managers, you truly need to tighten up or just turn off your online ordering if you can’t get it together. And also why even give me a sauce if this is how much you had to give me?? Just leave it out.

Tonight I just want to rave over the beautiful young ladies on the line tonight serving us food, there was a rude customer who wouldn’t let up on the ladies serving the extremely long line but the ladies handled him with humility and humbleness it was amazing to watch how meek and sweet they remained, that type of customer service keeps me coming back and don’t get me started on the food omg the Pita chips have me in a chokehold! Madison stay sweet and beautiful and Harry thank you for the immaculate team you carry. You have a new customer for life!!! Please go visit Delray location I promise you will NOT be disappointed by the food or the service.
