Very disappointing experience at Dahlia Mexican Kitchen, Port Orange.
We waited a long time just to be seated. While being walked to our table, we passed the kitchen and it was visibly messy, which immediately raised concerns.
We ordered drinks, including milk for my 7-year-old. The milk was expired. When we informed the server, she said she would remove it from the bill. That response completely missed the point. If expired milk is being served to children, it raises serious concerns about food safety overall.
We chose to leave immediately. If basic items like milk are expired, it’s hard to trust anything coming out of that kitchen.
Would not return

Delicious dinner, large portions. Service was slow to start. Server accidentally knocked her hand on my drink and it sloshed over the side of the glass onto the table which was not an issue, the issue was she saw it and walked away leaving the table covered with spilled drink. Never came back to clean it. Maybe she was having a bad day? IDK. I would go back.
We came here on a Saturdday afternoon during a Speedway event. Got here around 3pm. A few groups were already sat, and it took a few minutes, but we eventually got sat. We had a group of four normal sized people, and the waitress brought two huge baskets of chips. Definitely didn't want or eat all that. I ordered a taco salad and it was missing some ingredients from the menu description. Cilantro and a special sauce. It was bland but edible. Barely any lettuce. I would probably find somewhere else to eat the next time I'm in Daytona. The atmosphere was very beautiful though.

We won't be back to this location. We had a great experience at the Port Orange location so wanted to try this one but were disappointed. The main thing that ruined the evening was that the server spilled an entire cup of ice water on our table and all over my husband's lap. While I UNDERSTAND it was an accident, and we weren't angry that it happened, I did expect maybe his drink or our queso to be taken care of as a courtesy. Maybe that's my fault for expecting something, but I just thought it would have been courteous. Food was subpar, plates were insanely hot and no warning was given. My son's burger came out on a burnt bun. Choose the Port Orange location over this one if you can!
