The Chart house Daytona is one of our favorites! The filet was done perfectly with plenty of flavor. The lobster bisque was plentiful with chunks of lobster . Our server was friendly and attentive. The bar located downstairs could be challenging for those with mobility but there is a stair climber. No complaints.. keep up the same level of service!

We have been to this Chart House many, many times and were always extremely satisfied with the food, service, and ambiance. On this particular occasion, when we entered the restaurant there was a distinct urine odor. When we were seated the odor became stronger as we were at a table near floor vents. We asked to be moved and were accommodated. The order dissipated some.
Once again, the food and service was outstanding.
The ambience not so much because of the odor.
Until that is corrected, we won’t be back.

Terrible customer service had a reservation for 7 pm on Christmas Eve, got seated at our table at 710 the table cloth had mold on it . When we asked for a new table they brought another table cloth to the table and expected us to hold everything while they changed it out. When I asked to see tha manager he told me they were busy and he was sorry . Then just walked away. My first time at this Chart house . Was not impressed and we ended up leaving without having our Christmas Eve dinner.

This was the biggest disappointment I've had in a dining experience in some time. Lets start with the food. We consider ourselves experienced diners across the spectrum, to include "high end" restaurants. The food is so commercial I couldn't eat it. As a seafood lover, I cannot believe just how bad the Sea Bass and Lobster Risotto dish was. It was so salty and the Sea Bass so fishy I just left it.
The Cesar salad was another disappointment. The Parm bowl is a complete waste, very chewy and too thick to even cut. I don't order Cesar because I want a red pepper sauce either...but that was my fault as I didn't read it completely.
My friend had the same thing I did and the piece of fish she had was so ridiculously small it was laughable, less than half the size of mine.
The guys both had filets...one was good, while the other was very dry and it too went uneaten.
The server, while quite personable was unacceptably inattentive. Salad plates, soup bowls and bread plates piled up along with emptied glasses. Several times we had to ask for them to be removed. At one point we told our server that we would be ready for our beverages to be refreshed in 10 minutes and that never happened.
The bottom line here is that there are few chain restaurants that can pull off high end food without being noticeably commercial, a mass production type of thing, think sauces and soups and stocks and bases,...I mean how can you ruin lobster risotto? With mass produced lobster base...always too salty.
