I have been 3 times each time I have not had a good experience. First time the drinks were mostly emptied on the first week opened . Second time in same thing Lavender Blueberry empty. This time the staff were not very friendly, I mentioned I wanted a pita and I wasn’t given one I went to cash out still didn’t get one, would have been nice to hear, I’ll have one for you waiting when you cash out, or something but just silence. But… there was lavender blueberry drink and guess what? It sprayed out all over and stained my white jeans! Great place… needs a manager that wants to work and be on time p of things.

I’m a regular CAVA customer and visit multiple locations, but this newly opened store was disappointing. Portion sizes were significantly smaller, especially the protein. When I ordered double protein, I was told it only came with three scoops total, which is inconsistent with other CAVA locations.
At most CAVAs I visit, the bowl is full enough that the lid presses down on the food. Here, there was a noticeable amount of empty space, making the smaller portions obvious.
I was also repeatedly asked by the cashier to leave a Google review, which felt awkward given my experiences at this location already. I tried submitting feedback online instead, but the Daytona Beach location isn’t even listed, so I couldn’t.
Between portion inconsistency, value for the price, and lack of proper feedback channels, this location does not meet the CAVA standard I’m used to.

I just had the most amazing experience at CAVA — and it was all thanks to Christina! From the moment I stepped in, Christina greeted me with a warm smile and genuine enthusiasm that made me feel welcomed and appreciated. She walked me through the menu, offered thoughtful recommendations, and even helped me customize my meal perfectly. Her attention to detail, professionalism, and upbeat personality truly elevated the whole visit.
The food at CAVA is already fantastic — fresh, flavorful, and full of vibrant Mediterranean goodness — but Christina’s exceptional service is what made this one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. She was friendly, patient, and genuinely cared that I had a great meal. That kind of hospitality isn’t just nice — it makes you want to come back again and again.
Thank you, Christina, for going above and beyond and making my visit unforgettable! I highly recommend stopping by — and if you get served by Christina, you’re in for something special! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Overall love the brand. This particular location in Daytona Beach, gives you half the portion of other locations where the bowl can barely be closed. It is literally how they show it advertised in their photos.
Update: finished eating the bowl and steak was dry and not flavorful, like overcooked leather cubes. This location needs some help to meet standards of other locations. 1 star. Likely won’t return to this location again. Figured it was an off day but after 5 visits, I sadly won’t come back.
Picture I posted show what I got and what they advertise. Shame.
I had a late lunch at the Daytona Beach Cava today, 12/26/25. Around 430pm. I dont really want to say what I eat because I come in often enough. The food is always great.
While I was sitting, eating in a relatively quiet dining room, I hear a young lady yell across the dining room that she is going to write up another young lady. The young lady yelling was in a manager uniform and the young lady leaving was in a regular employee outfit. I did not notice anything before the yelling. The manager who yelled out was in the grill area and the girl leaving was literally walking out the side door when this occurred.
Let me restate this so there is no confusion. The manager yelled from the back corner of the store to the side exit (50 to 75 feet away) to notify an employee that she was getting written up. Writing up the sweet, smiling girl who has made my food since the store opened?! It was, to say the least, unprofessional. It was, to say the most, a HUGE turn off... I am not ok with how the employee was yelled at. That employee might not say anything about it, but I sure will!
I am not sure if i will return to the store for a while. I enjoy the food but I do not support a place who speaks to their employees in this way. If the manager is like this, is the GM like this too? Is that why its ok? Does it go further up the chain?
This is a new location. I know they are working out the kinks. But... staffing in the Daytona Beach area is already hard. The restaurant business here has a high turnover rate for employees as it is, why treat the good ones like that? You know the old saying... People dont quit jobs, they quit managers? I think that if you continue to allow this behavior then you will find that old adage to be very prophetic.
I will conclude by saying that I hope that this issue is addressed. I have enjoyed Cava up until today. I did not enjoy my experience there today at all. Thanks for your time.
