NC native who couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw a Bo’s in Daytona!! It seems like a majority of the franchises opening outside of the Carolina’s have a different menu, but it’s the same classic Bojangles taste and hospitality. If you’re like me and looking for a supreme dinner, you may be a little surprised to receive home style chicken tenders instead. The tenders taste just like Bojangles fried chicken in boneless form. The fries, tea, and biscuit were all classic Bo’s and a wonderful taste of home! Service was fast and kind, and that ranch yall?! 10/10. Can’t wait to come back for breakfast!

I grew up with bojangles they are a fried chicken restaurant that I loved but not anymore because they don’t even sell fried chicken anymore what a joke! They will gladly sell you chicken strips but a fried chicken chain that doesn’t even have fried chicken is ridiculous. My childhood ruined and my many months of waiting for this location to open is ruined! Who ever thought this was a good idea never grew up eating their amazing fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and dirty rice for dinner.
When i was in the drive thru the black bald man was taking my order and he was rushing and trying to put words in my mouth about my order like no sir I don’t want what you think I should have then when I got to the window he also had a attitude with me and was being disrespectful to his workers telling them they are slow and can’t do nothing right and I think he was a manager as well this is very unprofessional for him to be a manager and as I was waiting for my food I saw another person that seems to be manager sticking her hand without gloves in the chicken tenders and walking them to the back like how unsanitary this establishment is . Bojangles please get it together !
We absolutely LOVED everything about our trip to Bojangles this morning! Not only was our food incredible, every single person working there was so friendly and helpful! I know a lot of people are disappointed about their being no bone in chicken, but these were the best tenders I’ve ever tasted! I was most impressed with the staff, while we were eating I accidentally spilled my drink and out of nowhere Samesha was right there with napkins and a smile! She made no mention of my spill, only wanted to know how we were enjoying our meals. As it turns out, she was the one who cooked them! She took the time to stop and talk to everyone as she made her way through the dining room!
I have never once witnessed anybody asking for genuine feedback about how we were enjoying our food at a fast food chain. I doubt many people have. It’s an experience like this that locks us in as regular customers for life! Thank you, Mr. Bojangles and thank you, Samesha!!
So I went the first week they were opened; I thought the very limited menu was just due to the grand opening, so I got over myself and ordered the chicken tenders. They were tiny/skinny and served basically cold (even with a 45 mins wait)….the dirty rice seemed not all the way done….but again, I chalked it up to it being the first week open & working out the kinks. I drove up again all the way from Palm Coast, only to find there’s no bone-in chicken being served at this location period and the side items are still very limited. What a bummer, that’s the whole draw to Bojangles for me, the bone in chicken. Respectfully, if I wanted boneless chicken there’s plenty of other options for tenders (Canes, Zaxbys, Chic-fil-a, etc) I drove off and went some where else. I was so excited for this one because it was a quicker drive than the St. Augustine location, but I’ll stick to the one in St. Augustine until/if this one changes.
