In Absolute Disgust, Served Moldy Bread to My Family.
I am beyond disgusted with the experience my family and I had with a recent to-go order from this Carrabba’s location. We usually enjoy the bread as a staple of the meal, but this time, what we received was not only unappetizing—it was hazardous.
Upon opening the bag at home, we discovered that the bread was covered in visible green and white mold.
This isn't just a minor "oops" or a forgotten side item; this is a major failure in basic food safety and quality control. For bread to reach this level of mold growth, it had to have been sitting around for quite some time. The fact that a staff member sliced this, bagged it, and handed it to a customer without noticing or worse, noticing and ignoring it is completely unacceptable.
We trust restaurants to provide fresh, safe food for our families, but this experience has completely shattered that trust. It makes me seriously question the cleanliness of the rest of the kitchen and their storage practices. If they are willing to send out bread that is visibly rotting, what else is being overlooked?
We will not be returning to this location. If you value your health and your money, I strongly suggest you check your food thoroughly before leaving or just skip this place entirely. Truly disgusting.

I recently had the pleasure of dining here, and I must say, the service was nothing short of exceptional. Our server, Jose Garcia, went above and beyond to ensure our experience was flawless. I have never had such excellent service at a Carrabba’s, let alone at most restaurants.
From the moment we were seated, he greeted us with a warm smile and a feeling of comfort. His attention to detail was remarkable; he remembered our preferences and made thoughtful recommendations that enhanced our meal. It was evident that he genuinely cared about our dining experience.
Throughout the evening, he checked in at just the right moments, ensuring our drinks were never empty and that we had everything we needed. The little touches, like suggesting the espresso martini and bringing extra napkins without us asking, demonstrated a commitment to excellent hospitality.
Overall, the combination of Jose Garcia's attentiveness and the restaurant's inviting atmosphere made for a memorable evening. What a phenomenal server who made my family’s night with his care, attention to detail, and friendliness. If you’re coming here, be sure to request him as your server!!

The staff are exceptionally attentive and noticeably teaming up on all clients. Constantly checked up on us and our main server, Antonio, opened up by calling us “family”, which immediately made us feel welcomed and at home. Food as usual is great and the ambience is so inviting. The welcome wine tasting is always a plus which introduced us to featured wine of the day. Will definitely come back to this branch. Hope they maintain this quality of service and food.
Vi fikk beskjed om at ventetiden var 15–25 minutter. Etter 35 minutter spurte vi hvor lenge det ville ta, og fikk da beskjed om ytterligere 10 minutter. Da vi var i ferd med å gå, fikk vi bord. Totalt ventet vi i 50 minutter, til tross for at restauranten var halvfull.
Servicen var dårlig – drikke og brød ble glemt. Når det gjelder maten var opplevelsen blandet: noen var fornøyde, mens andre fikk kald mat og retter som ikke smakte godt.
Dessverre var dette en svært dårlig matopplevelse.

Tonight My family and I stopped into Carrabbas that just opened a few weeks ago. We have been watching and waiting on this restaurant to open. Carrabba’s is very special to us, this first date we ever went on was at a Carrabba’s, (3 children latter with our oldest being 16years old) so we were excited to find out that one was opening less than 2 miles from our home!! I had just got done working my restaurant management shift , and we decided to meet up on my way home. I arrived first was greeted at the door with welcome smile and welcoming attitudes as soon as I walked in. My family wasn’t quite there yet, so I went ahead and proceeded to the bar to have a smoked old-fashioned which was totally amazing! I enjoyed my beverage while I was drinking it. The Host came to let me know that my table is ready as soon as I was ready. I cashed out out with the bartender who is very friendly and taking care of everyone at the bar! And proceeded back to the host stand where they promptly sat me at my table about 15 to 30 seconds later. Mandy my server approached the table and gave me the most welcoming smile. She truly made me feel like I belong there. She offered me a sample one While giving a great description of the wine. I let her know that my family was on the way she offered that she would be ready as soon as I was, and I thanked her throughout the experience, Mandy and the rest of the staff were the highlights of the experience, Even though everyone was very new because the restaurant had only been open for two weeks, each of them tried their best to take care of each other and every guest that walked in the building. I’ve been working in a restaurant for over 30 years. My wife has been working in restaurant for over 20 years, With our combined restaurant experience, we both agreed that the management team must be doing a very good job coaching and training their team in order For the team to come out there and act the way that they did they were very professional very helpful and very friendly along with very welcoming. If you want some good Italian food in your Davenport era there’s a brand new Carrabba’s and you should be eating! To top it off the general manager, stop by our table to drop off our tiramisu dessert that we had and inquire about our experience I had noticed he had done a table touch on every single table in the restaurant was very personable and also made us feel welcomed! Well, we know exactly where the staff got that great attitude from, That’s what I call a positive trickle down effect when the leader treats the team so well that they turned around and treat the guest so well! Team, he should be very proud. I will be back to eat and drink in this restaurant very many times!
