Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I placed an order online, and the app was glitching. So when I went to pick up my order, not everything was correct. Which is understandable, seeing that the app was not working correctly. I go inside and let a representative of the store know. My order was wrong and they were able to correct it. But as the young african american gentleman brings me my food, I was immediately uneased as he asked if i'm on facebook and Crestview bulletin. I asked what exactly am I looking for. He said it's a surprise. I felt very off put and confused by the request as I started looking on the Crestview bulletin. I did not see anything that stood out. Other customers saw the interaction, and I asked again, what am I specifically looking for and he just reiterated that it's a surprise. And he shouldn't really talk much I'm at work. I take my food to the car and I'm still very distressed by the interaction and feel even more uncomfortable. I call their number to report my incident. And was told the operation manager just walked in, and I said, great. I will be in to discuss with her my encounter. I explained my situation and how I felt and asked if she would approach the worker and ask what specifically or why he had this interaction with me making me feel very uncomfortable. Needless to say, he was acting as if he was completely shocked that somebody would complain and avoided the question as to why? He prompt me to look up a article from a few days ago and come to find out. He was featured in a comedy show. And that he tells all the customers to look it up, and it's a surprise. Needless to say, the female operation manager said that that was not very appropriate and could have been done differently. And she said that she would also bring this up to a one on one conversation with the employee. I've never been some where that I have felt that uncomfortable in a very long time. I'm not sure if I'll be going back if that is conducted at restaurants like that.

Heather M left her employee meal receipt and her trash from her meal all over the Redstone commons playground. There was also ketchup thrown all over the slides. Such a trashy thing to do

So tonight I decide whataburger. Took forever to get it, I’m talking 30+ minutes (fine, others were in the drive through too). One would imagine warm food is for sure in their future!
Drive 7 minutes home. Open it. Everything is so cold the cheese isn’t even melted on the burgers. It’s laughable really. Onion rings, cold. I mean idk what yall are doing but you could’ve at least pretended to care… just a skoshie hair, ya know, like Luke warm would’ve prevented me complaining. I certainly am not driving back down there tonight.
Haven’t tried the milk shakes yet but I imagine it’ll be perfect ya know.. cause that’s at least supposed to be cold. lol 🤍
Anyway, hope to come back with a better review some day when I give it the chance again.

All I wanted on my burger was onions, ketchup and mayo, I got ketchup and mayo but they forgot my onions and put cheese on there, also I was doing a pickup order so I didn't have to wait on them to make my food, but when I got to the window I sat there for almost 10 minutes and then he opens the window again and asks me for my name a THIRD time, and when I get the bag the top of the plastic bag is melted like they left it under the heat lamp
