For food, I went with the burger and the staff-recommended mac and cheese. The burger was pretty basic in presentation but still appetizing and hit the spot. The mac and cheese was the standout — creamy white cheddar topped with crispy bacon — rich, flavorful, and exactly what you want in comfort food. Service was friendly and quick, and prices felt fair for the quality. Overall, Crooked Tale is a great local stop if you’re looking for good food, whiskey, and a relaxed sports-bar atmosphere. There was one instance where we ordered mozzarella sticks to go and they didn’t have any cheese inside however the manager immediately reached out to us to apologize and make things right! Besides the amazing food, people here seem to care about the customers! We will definitely continue to eat here and recommend it to all our friends!

From the moment we walked in, it felt like we were an inconvenience rather than customers. No greeting, no smile, just an annoyed host pointing us to a table. Our server took forever to show up, and when they finally did, they acted like taking our order was a chore. Drinks took every bit of 30 minutes to arrive. The Food took over two hours to hit the table. Not once did anyone check on us after dropping off the food, and flagging down help was nearly impossible because the staff avoided eye contact like it was a sport. I don’t care how good a kitchen is—if the service is this consistently careless and unfriendly, it ruins the entire experience. This place clearly doesn’t value its customers, and I won’t be back. The picture is their “boneless wings” it actually chopped up chicken tenders. The sweet potato fries were cold and soggy, the chicken tenders we ordered for our kids were over cooked and burnt.
