  Food choices in Crestview can feel a little limited, especially on the south side, so we were really happy when we found Crooked Tail Gastropub. We have been coming back ever since. We have always had great service, enjoyed the food, and liked the atmosphere. We usually sit at the bar for conversation and easy access to the TVs, but they also have booths and tables. Definitely one of our favorite spots in town.

  Food tasted great! And if you make sure to find out about sale days like wing Wednesdays you can enjoy it without worrying about the price!

  I've never had a bad meal here. There must have been at least a half pound of bacon on my friends BLT. The service is always amazing and the mimosas readily flow. Hunter was our server on the last visit and was quite enjoyable to chat with. The music was at the perfect level. Loud enough to enjoy, but not too loud to talk with each other. This place is a local's delight and not overrun with tourists.

  My boyfriend and I were in town on vacation. We wanted to have lunch with our friend, so we found this place. Reviews were good, it had something for everyone on the menu, perfect place. We got there around 12 not busy, so we were seated right away. We ordered pretzels with beer cheese sauce, delicious. Mozzarella sticks with marinara sauce, sticks delicious, but the sauce was cold. I ordered a hamburger with house salad, cooked perfect. My boyfriend ordered a steak, cooked medium with sweet potato fries and Mac & cheese. Fries and Mac & cheese were delicious, steak was raw. Our friend ordered wings because she had heared people talk very highly about them. She tasted them and said all she could taste was vinegar, she was very disappointed. Our waitress was amazing and handled everything.

  We came to Florida for Spring Break and we tried most of the “fancier” restaurants and they were all just okay. Crooked Tale Gastropub absolutely exceeded our expectations! The waitress was so sweet and very attentive to us and the food was absolutely DELICIOUS!!! I got the MOBLT and sweet potato fries and the bogart bombers as the appetizer. My husband got the burger with the taco seasoning on it (I can’t remember what it’s called) and he loved it!! We highly recommend checking them out! 5/5 stars!
