This is, without question, one of the worst Pollo Tropical locations in existence. The service is abysmal—employees blatantly standing around, ignoring customers, and moving with zero urgency or initiative. It’s astonishing that a company would tolerate such apathetic, unmotivated, and blatantly careless staff. The level of mediocrity here is embarrassing for the brand and makes it clear that management has completely failed. Truly a disgraceful reflection of what Pollo Tropical is supposed to represent.

Terrible experience in drive through. Had to repeat my order Three times and my mistake did not check order. Was given the wrong order. Did not realize until I got home. Will never buy in that location again. Very little food. Pay for 1 whole chicken received a leg and a thigh.

I placed an online order and went through the drive-thru since the line inside was long and my 1-year-old was asleep in the car. When I got to the window, the employee told me I was “wasting my time and other customers’ time” because online orders are for pickup inside. I explained my situation, but she simply replied that my order would be ready “at 2:00 — in exactly one minute.”
I ended up parking, waking my son, and going inside to get the food — which made the experience unnecessarily stressful. To make things worse, the “large” TropiChop portion was much smaller than expected.
I understand there are procedures for online orders, but a little empathy and flexibility would go a long way. It might help to allow quick drive-thru pickups for parents with sleeping children or special circumstances — it would make a big difference in customer satisfaction.
