  Today, Sunday April 27 around 5:30 PM, I visited Bazille at Nordstrom inside Nordstrom. Service was very slow upon arrival (about 20 minutes before being acknowledged), and the food arrived cold with overly greasy fries. When we addressed it, we were told the server was new. We ultimately canceled our order. A manager only briefly came at the end of our visit offering discount cards, which didn’t really address the experience. It’s possible the timing of our visit impacted service, but unfortunately this was not the level of experience expected from Nordstrom. — Indhira Casanova

  My grandson is allergic to eggs and their Mac and cheese (which all kids love) doesn’t have eggs and also my waiter was very nice. Definitely recommend this place. Five stars.

  We visited Bazille at Nordstrom Merrick Park for our daughter’s 8th birthday today. I knew it would be special. We started with the rosemary seasoned fries, a bowl of the crab bisque soup and the heirloom tomatoes burrata. For the main, the signature Shrimp Pomodoro Pasta was incredibly rich. The presentation was artful. Our server Luna was exceptional. She recommended a stunning Brownie Sundae for my daughter birthday dessert and even wrote her name with chocolate syrup and had the entire staff sing her happy birthday. The quality of food and atmosphere made it worth every penny. We will absolutely be returning for another special occasion. Highly recommended for taking out your special someone for their birthday.   Great lunch at Bazille at Nordstrom thanks to our server, Kaylin. She was sweet, knowledgeable, and attentive even during a busy lunch rush, and never made us feel rushed while we caught up. Her recommendations were great — the Caesar salad with salmon/shrimp was delicious, and the bread pudding dessert is a must. Thank you, Kaylin! ⭐️
