- BRBeth Resnick3 days ago1.0Visited yesterday on Saturday evening and sat at the bar for dinner. The bar tender was subpar and he had to be called over so we could place order or another drink. We ordered the smash burger and whiskey smash burger and both were Not smash burgers. They were two stubby burgers and not proportional in size and Bland at best. A smash burger is a burger patty pressed extremely thin onto a screaming-hot griddle or cast-iron skillet, creating a, crispy, browned, and flavorful crust. Again what we received were Not smash burgers and should not be listed as such on their menu. Between the service and food we will not be back.

The bar was 1/3 full as was the restaurant. No walk ins on Valentine’s Day. It was 6:15pm. We will just always pick a different place.

The dishes we have had are too numerous to mention. Some of the appetizers are shareable, fried green tomatoes are outstanding. A couple of the handhelds have wagyu beef not expensive yet delicious. Overall the food is excellent. One disappointment recently was the bread pudding.They could do better with that. It looked more like French toast and that is not the traditional method. However having said that a delightful place to dine and enjoy good food. We need many more bistro places like this in Clermont instead of all these fast food places which I don’t go to as they have never seen food.
