  I purchased a chuck roast last Sunday. It was amazing!!! I requested a 3 lb cut, and they cut it from a 10 lb roast. Trimmed all the fat from the edges. Slow cooked it for 6 hours, just melt in your mouth delicious. The BEST pot roast ever! Thank you, Southern Steer for your amazing meat and perfect customer service 👌

  Amazing! I won’t buy chicken or beef anywhere else. The meats are marinated in several flavors, and each one is packed with flavor. Prices are very affordable—especially if you take advantage of their rewards program. They also offer different specials and discounts Monday through Friday, which is a great bonus. For takeaways, the buffalo cauliflower is delicious! Next on my list to try are the Brussels sprouts and 🥓 bacon. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable, which makes the experience even better. Highly recommend! 🙌

  Southern Steer Butcher in Clearwater has completely changed the way I buy meat. From the moment you walk in, the first thing you notice is how absolutely immaculate the store is. The cleanliness alone sets it apart from any grocery store meat department—and that standard carries through everything they do. The quality and pricing are outstanding. At $6.99 per pound, both their chicken and ground beef are hands-down some of the best values you’ll find anywhere, especially considering the freshness and flavor. Their ground beef is phenomenal—rich, clean-tasting, and clearly top-tier. One of my favorite offerings is their chicken breasts and tenders, which come perfectly cut and infused with a variety of flavors. I’ve tried the Margarita, Lemon Pepper, House, Teriyaki, and Buffalo, and every single one has been absolutely delicious. Once cooked, the flavor is incredible—juicy, well-seasoned, and restaurant-quality without doing anything extra. We’ve also tried their buffalo cauliflower, and it deserves just as much praise. It’s a fantastic side—crispy, flavorful, and surprisingly addictive. Their rewards program is another huge bonus. When you sign up, you get rotating discounts throughout the week on select items. Tuesdays are our go-to day, with about 35% off chicken, which makes an already great deal even better. While I haven’t yet tried their steaks or pork, based on everything else I’ve experienced, I have zero doubt they’ll be exceptional. Bottom line: once you shop at Southern Steer Butcher, it’s hard to ever go back to buying meat from a grocery store. The cleanliness, quality, flavor, pricing, and customer-focused experience make this place a standout. If you care about what you’re eating, do yourself a favor and make the switch. Highly recommended.
