Another 10 minutes passed, and they announced they were out of rice altogether. Their rice cooker was broken, and it would be an hour before more rice was ready. If you knew the rice cooker was broken and only had enough rice for the next three or four people in line, why let everyone else stand around waiting? Someone in line then pointed out that there was rice in the to‑go orders. However, the staff said in‑store customers could not have that rice—even though they had both white and brown available for takeout. Terrible customer service, and terrible communication.
