  I ad a frustrating experience with Kings Pizza in Clearwater. I placed an online order on Friday April 10th, 7:30 PM for two pizzas and a dozen wings, and received a “confirmation text” saying it would be ready for pickup at 8:00 PM. I arrived right at 8:00 and checked in with the hostess at the front. She told me the order was in their computer system and would be ready in about 10 minutes. After waiting another 20 minutes, I checked again—only to be told that the “kitchen side” had never received the order, even though it was showing in their front computer system and I received a confirmation text. At that point, nearly an hour had passed since I originally placed the order. I was then asked if I wanted to cancel, but since I had already paid (including tip), I asked them to go ahead and make the food. I then waited another 20 minutes for the order to finally be prepared. While the hostess did apologize, the restaurant really needs to figure out how an order can be confirmed online and appear in their computer system, yet never make it to the kitchen food order queue. Unfortunately, the food didn’t fully make up for the experience. The pizza itself was great, but the wings were overly sauced and cold. Our family only ate two out of the dozen we ordered. Overall, a disappointing experience due to the lack of coordination and long wait time. ⸻ If you want, I can make  a shorter, more “Google-style” version or  a sharper version if you want it to hit harder.

  Awesome selection, service and value!!! The slice deal with a soda is great. They have some specialty offerings on the weekends that look amazing, I am bummed I didn’t get to try (thought they would always be available or could order off the menu). They were super busy one day we were there, but were still kind and thoughtful.

  Food is good. We had a meat lovers, pizza and it was delicious. The staff was fairly friendly. The wait time to get a pizza to go was 15 minutes. My only critique would be to have them keep the interior of this small space a little bit cleaner. We had actually gone to coco's nextdoor and because that place was so horrible and disgusting and the staff was completely rude. We ended up at king's pizza and it was an excellent decision. I would definitely recommend trying their pizza or calzones. Everything looked really tasty. Suitable for all party sizes, lots of outdoor seating. So if you have a group of three or more plenty of space outside to sit. Would definitely recommend this place.

  Went over to King's Pizza after waiting for almost 2 hours to be seated at coco's next door with almost 18 tables empty. The wait wasn't anything but 20 minutes. Had probably 20 people ahead of us and were in and out in no time at all. Talked to a lot of customer's in line, half of them had waited 90 minutes or longer to be seated at coco's only to finally give up even with all the empty tables and lazy service there. The only complaint was the pizza joint was very dirty and nasty on the floors with spilt food and sauce at the tables, napkins everywhere and dirty tables. Still FARRRRRR better than the suffering at coco's and hurricane lazy, I mean eddie's. Pizza was amazing!!!

  King’s Pizza is the best pizza in Clearwater Beach, and honestly I’d put it up against any pizza place in Florida. Every year we visit, we order from here. Sometimes more than once! The toppings selection is huge, the menu goes beyond just pizza, and everything is always delicious. Service is always friendly, quick, and easy, and the prices are way more than fair for the area. If you’re in Clearwater Beach and don’t stop at King’s, you’re missing out.
