You can’t win them all and you can't be good at everything... breakfast is one of those things.
We drove 20 minutes to try this place after being excited since it was announced.
Upon walking in, the atmosphere was that of eating outside... freezing cold.
Ordered biscuits & gravy, breakfast tacos, and French toast.
The sausage gravy should never have left the kitchen. It was thin as water, completely broken, and inedible. That’s not a small mistake — that’s a basic quality control failure. Someone had to look at that and decide it was acceptable to serve, which is honestly surprising considering it was not.
The breakfast tacos were missing cheese, which added to the impression that no one is checking plates before they go out.
What made the experience worse was the response when we brought it up. The front counter woman showed total indifference, which was a true reflection of the quality of food served. Not even a simple "sorry", just a blank stare amd a straight face.
Front-facing customer service requires either better training or a different approach entirely. Guests shouldn’t feel like they’re inconveniencing staff by pointing out a problem.
We won’t be back for breakfast or this location. As much as I want to say we will be back to the original location for BBQ, there's a bad taste left in my mouth... literally.
EDIT- We were never rude, never raised out voices and literally said we like the BBQ and just wanted to provide feedback on the missing cheese and broken watery gravy. It was a 25 second statement to the front counter girl on the way out.
We have been to Briskets multiple times ans enjoyed the BBQ, breakfast was just simply a flop.
Additionally, your initial response was never seen by anyone on our end, but your secondary response is certainly not what one would expect.
2 people posting a review of their experience is far from a vendetta and agenda.
Additionally, throwing another employee under the bus stating they are not as good as the usual person is rough.
Happy to chat over the phone so you can get the full story.
