Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- WSWeber ShenanigansDec 28, 20251.0We stopped in for a bite on our way home from Florida. I ordered via the app in advance around 2PM for curbside and the estimated delivery time was 2:10-2:13. At 2:36, our food finally came out. Upon further inspection, half the order was wrong. I grabbed the two sandwiches and went inside. I stood for at least 5 minutes at the counter while 10 employees completely avoided eye contact and carried on goofing off in little groups like middle schoolers. I finally had to announce very loudly that I needed assistance with my order. Several people in line for the counter were very frustrated that I got attention ahead of them, but we had now waited 40 minutes for our food. If you are traveling, drive right past this place and go to McDonalds or something up the road. It’s a complete joke and the management staff is ridiculous and just wants to have playtime with the employees. We come through this area once a month and they’ll never get another penny out of our family.

They "didn't have any trays" so our dine in order came in a bag. They also don't have table numbers so they were just hollering out names.
- DDDonnie DiegertDec 18, 20253.0Foods good and service was good but was completely thrown off by the sick manager in the dining room I know she was sick because she told everybody in the dining room she was and she was waiting on a ride and proceeded to walk around everyone waiting to order durning the lunch rush She even took the time to walk into the kitchen area around every one’s food and liturally started touching things with her bare hands as if she was still working and not sick You can do better Whataburger…especially after covid 12/18 1130AM
