Instead of offering any type of replacement bread, the employee told me I would have to pay extra just to get a piece of bread — even though it’s not my fault they were out of the one that’s included. I asked to speak with the manager, her name is Dolores and she also insisted I should be charged extra. I was honestly shocked. Any restaurant that runs out of an included item should replace it with something comparable at no cost. Instead, they were willing to lose a sale over a slice of bread. It was extremely disappointing customer service, and I left without buying the soup. I’ve always liked Panera, but this experience really changed how I feel about this location. Definitely needs better management and customer care.
