  Here on vacation and wanted Italian. Found this restaurant via a Google Maps search. No reservation, we just walked in around 5:30. We got seated right away. The food, my wife got chicken Parmesan while I got pork parm. It was possibly the best Parmesan I’ve ever had. We’re from Massachusetts and going in to the Northend for Italian is easy. This food was better in my opinion. Damn, it was good.

  I will be fair and say this was on valentines so judge accordingly. Our reservation was set for 7:30pm, we checked in and told they were 20 min behind. Okay cool I get it being Valentine’s Day things are slow. By 8:03 we still hadn’t heard anything, so I check back in and told we’re next on the list. By 8:30 we still hadn’t gotten seated and again had to ask about our table, which did result in us getting sat down. We order appetizers and main course right away since it’s already late. We don’t get our appetizers till 9:30, all while our server completely ignores us. The bruschetta was soggy and our soup was luke warm at best. Eventually at like 9:40 our server finally starts checking in more, offering us a free salad/drink etc. It’s 10 now and I’m ready to just pay and get our meal to go, while waiting 2 other servers ask if we’re waiting for something and I politely inform her we’re just waiting on our meal. She responds with “oh…I’m sorry” and walks away. About 5-10 min later we finally get our food and leave. Mind you the restaurant was only getting emptier and emptier as the evening progressed. Again I understand it’s valentines but I lack of communication and service is still unacceptable. Fair to say that will be our only attempt at eating here Edit: it has been 3 days with no contact 🤷‍♀️

  Visited here for the first time to celebrate our 12th Anniversary and we were very pleased. The food was delicious. The calamari tossed with the lemon piccata sauce was amazing. I had the lobster ravioli and it was so good I’m already looking forward to going back to order it again. The chicken Parmesan my husband had was cooked perfectly and the herbs in the sauce were so flavorful. Even the garlic knots and Caesar salad were terrific. We had a reservation and were seated quickly. Our server Rolla was sweet and attentive. Overall an excellent experience.

  We are locals and have heard about this place for a long while, decided to give it a try, however things fell a bit short for us. We were promptly greeted and seated, the place was very loud and it was not so easy to talk to each other at our table. It took about 8 minutes for our server, Rola, to greet us once we were seated. We were not asked if we'd ever been before, which would have been nice and maybe some information about the place, specials (We came this past Wednesday which it seems is a buy one get one day but we were not aware), nor suggestions were made. We ordered our beverages and when Rola returned we ordered an appetizer. The Georgio rolls took 11 minutes to get out to us but they were really good, authentic flavor in the sauce, we were pleased with them. When we were ordering entrees we were not told of the Wednesday special which would have played into what we ordered. We ordered the Spaghetti Bolognese and Added on 2 of the meatballs, then we also chose a Parmigiana (eggplant) since we weren't aware of the nights special. Again, it took quite some time to receive, but the entrées were amazing, full of flavor, cooked/prepared perfectly. We were brought drink refills once. We were asked if we'd like a cappuccino after dinner, which we ordered, but were never asked or offered dessert. We felt the service was a little slow and not informative enough. We still talked about the food the following day, but we are unsure if we will return. $100 dinner that could've been faster, $30 cheaper if made aware of specials, and more personable/informative. FOOD IS AMAZING, the rest leaves more to be desired.

  Hands down, some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had in my life. Amazing to find such a welcoming and warm atmosphere in this part of Bradenton. We had a four 1/2 course meal and I have to say we cleaned our plates each time. My husband and I got the nonnas meatballs and a small Caesar salad to have as an appetizer and both were phenomenal. The complementary garlic knots were outstanding. My hubby got chicken Marsala that he said was probably the best he’s ever had.that says a lot coming from him because he’s Italian and it’s a staple in his family’s home. I got chicken piccata and it was just so perfect and delicious. Then we got spumoni ice cream for dessert. That’s something you don’t see everywhere and when you do definitely you need to get it!!! Our waitress was very kind and made many wonderful recommendations for us to try and I’m glad we took her word for it! Next time we’re definitely going to do the tableside cachio Pepe ! Saw another table do this and it was very cool! We will definitely be back! I felt like the price was fair and the environment was very nice and clean. It seems like a well managed place.
