  Beautiful decor, we had a party of 11 for their Easter Buffet Brunch … some dishes were delicious but some were just ok. Two main stations, the highlights for me were the sautéed mushrooms, lemon ricotta French toast, chicken and waffles, eggs frittata, penne bolognese, prime rib, Italian salad, gamberi in a light vinaigrette, panna cotta and tiramisu!! Cons were that I had to call the restaurant to book a larger party and I could never get anyone to answer. I left a message and it took a week for someone to call me back. I think the food location could flow a bit better…danishes and breads were on one side, while eggs were across the way on the other side of the restaurant. The penne Bolognese needed some extra sauce on the side as it was a bit dry in the chaffing dish. My least favorites were the chicken piccata which did not appear to have any sauce no capers at all, over limp gummy angel hair pasta They did not offer any horseradish cream for the prime rib, I asked one of the servers if he’d check with the bar as they usually have it for Bloody Marys …he never bothered to come back. My husband has to get up and returned with some horseradish for the table. The prime rib was not a great cut cooked more to a medium even in the middle, and a tad chewy. Overall, I really enjoyed the food and selection…I hope they can improve on some of the issues, it would totally elevate our experience.

  Exceptional find in the corner restaurant. An eclectic menu with superb dishes. An added bonus is the theatre upstairs. The service as exceptional as was the food. Reasonably price. We have dined as many restaurants in the Mizner Plaza and by far, this has been the best. The decor was impressive also. We will be back.

  I recently had my baby shower hosted at Serena Pastificio on Saturday morning, when the restaurant is normally closed, and we had the absolute best experience. I cannot recommend Serena enough if you’re looking to host a private event. Our guests could not stop complimenting how beautiful the restaurant is, how wonderful the service was, and how delicious the food was. It was also incredibly easy to work with Andrea to coordinate everything. We were able to choose the entrées that would be offered to our guests, customize the drink package, and we had the entire restaurant to ourselves, which made the event feel much more intimate and special than simply reserving a room or section of a restaurant. They also gave us access to the space about an hour before the event began, which made setting up decorations easy and stress-free. One of my guests who traveled in for the shower loved it so much that later in the day she went to see a movie at iPic and then returned to Serena for happy hour. If you’re planning a private event and want something that feels beautiful and intimate, with reasonable pricing, great food and drinks, and a team that’s easy to work with, this is absolutely the place.
