  I used the Papa Johns app to order pizzas and picked them up here. The pizzas were ready and I was ready to go when the employee behind the corner asked me if I would be happy with one of them. I looked and told him it would be fine. He then said he already started remaking it and it would be done in another 2 minutes. I thought that was nice. The remade pizza looked great and I thanked the guy and then he told me I could also take the imperfect one home too. Sweet. I got an extra pizza out of the minor mistake. I was delighted by effort to please the customer, me. Good job, Papa Johns!

  There was no menu signage in the store at this time. You’re forced to use your phone just to see what they offer. The manager has menus but you have to specifically ask him or no to ask him for a printed menu. I had already tried ordering online and it was not working, and to make things worse, the pricing and deals aren’t even consistent between online and in-store. Specials you see online aren't available in store. They are trying to force you to give up your email, use their app and order specifically online. I don’t want to be forced into using an app or giving out my information just to order a pizza. Prices and specials should be clearly labeled in store and you shouldn't be forced to go online to order a pizza especially if you're already in the store. People were in store wanting to order and then making their own orders online on their phone. The pizza itself was terrible. I ordered a large one-topping with extra sauce and confirmed it twice. There was barely any sauce on it. The pizza measured about 13 inches, which is hard to justify calling a “large,” especially at $19. Again, they're large pizzas are only 13 in. Other pizza places in the area have large pizzas starting at 16 in. The real issue was the dough and overall quality. Dough is processed and manufactured in a large plant and delivered to the store. The underside of the pizza was not properly baked. It was thick,, close to half an inch in places, and had a gooey, doughy texture like undercooked bread that had absorbed the little sauce that was there. It didn’t resemble a normal pizza crust at all. The outer edge wasn’t much better, flat, poorly formed, and just as unappealing. The cheese barely covered the pizza, and the overall taste was awful. It didn’t taste like real pizza. It tasted processed, artificial, and cheap. Honestly, it was worse than the Great Value pizza at Walmart On top of that, when you go to pay, you’re forced through a tip screen and have to actively decline it. This is a pickup order where you are forced to order yourself and pick it up yourself. There is no justification for asking for a tip picking up at Papa John's. For the same price, you can get a much larger and far better pizza from a local place. Even chains like Hungry Howie’s are better and cost less. Yes I can honestly say Hungry Howie's makes a better pizza and has a better pickup experience. I told the manager before leaving that I wouldn’t be coming back, especially now having paid for received and tried the product. This is not even close to the original Papa John’s I remember. The quality has dropped to the point where it’s almost unrecognizable. Never again! I'll go to McDonald's first.

  Standard fare. Not a dine in establishment, just grab and go. Very modern and clean. Atmosphere rating reflective of establishment cleanliness.

  I came in to pick up my order at this Boca location and had a very disappointing experience. When I asked for extra pepperoncinis, the employee brought the entire bucket to the counter, put his bare hand inside it, and placed them directly into my pizza box, no gloves, no tongs. I’ve been to multiple Papa John’s across South Florida, and every other location uses tongs and foil. To make matters worse, he had an attitude, rolling his eyes and making it seem like I was asking for too much, acting entitled, as if he didn’t care. I wasn’t trying to cause an issue, it was such a simple fix, and he didn’t really apologize, but he eventually did what he was supposed to do in the first place. After he fixed the situation, he still sarcastically said, “Have a good night” as I left. I drove 20 minutes for this, and the lack of basic food safety and professionalism is just unacceptable. I hope management addresses this.
