The owner is absolutely rude , took no accountability nor did he offer compensation. Took over a hour to get the check, because no one checks on you during your meal. The taro boba tasted like straight iced milk with no real taro flavor. The biggest issue was finding a fly at the bottom of my pho. Both my friend and I clearly saw it, and the waitress also noticed it and looked visibly disgusted. When I respectfully brought it to the owner’s attention, he repeatedly insisted it was a bean sprout and made us feel gaslit, even though it was clearly a fly with wings. The owner was condescending and implied that we were trying to get something out of him, even making comments about us being “snobby” and from Boca, which felt unnecessary and unprofessional. After going back and forth, he said he would take it off the bill “if that would make us happy,” which came across as dismissive rather than apologetic. On top of that, the customer service was lacking overall. No one checked on us during the meal, and dirty plates were never cleared. This could have been handled much better with accountability and respect. Sadly, I wouldn’t return based on this experience.
