  A Five-Star Experience at Lazy Dog (Thanks, Dexter!) I recently had a fantastic dining experience at Lazy Dog, and it's quickly become one of my favorite spots. The atmosphere is warm, relaxed, and welcoming—the perfect blend of rustic and modern comfort. The highlight of the meal, without question, was the Grilled Lemon Chicken. This dish was absolutely outstanding. The chicken was perfectly cooked—tender, juicy, and seasoned beautifully. The lemon flavor was bright and zesty without being overwhelming, making it feel both comforting and incredibly fresh. It was truly an amazing dish and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting. Beyond the excellent food, the service was top-notch. My visit was made particularly special by Manager Dexter. He was attentive, highly professional, and ensured every detail of our visit was handled. He genuinely went out of his way to check in, chat briefly, and took great care of me and my table. It's rare to see that level of hands-on, committed leadership, and Dexter deserves massive credit for making us feel valued. From the delicious menu offerings to the exceptional management, Lazy Dog delivers. I highly recommend stopping by!

  1st time customer and we will definitely be back! Loved the atmosphere. It’s upscale but casual and relaxing. We ordered the chips, fried deviled eggs and lemon pepper tator tots for an appetizer. Which were all very yummy. The veggies in the Chicken pot pie tasted so fresh!, They do not skimp on the amount of chicken in it. So hearty. It was so delicious. Also the meatloaf was amazing! Loved the burgundy flavor that it was cooked in. My son is a burger connoisseur and he loved his 1/2lb burger. Service was excellent! They even gave us an extra round of appetizers. Rudy, our waitress, and Derek, the manager, went that extra mile for us. Our daughter had a performance at FAU and Derek went out of his way, to Whole Foods and bought her flowers. So sweet! We loved the twist on American food and you can tell they put their ALL into the food, service and comfort. I can’t wait to come back and try the pot roast. Thank you Lazy Dog for a wonderful, delicious and satisfying night!

  I’ve been coming to Lazy Dog for a while, but my last visit was disappointing. The Pot Roast Beef Dip tasted off, bitter and overly sweet from the caramelized onions and horseradish cream, and the service was painfully slow. When I mentioned it, the server didn’t offer a replacement. Furthermore, the prices are exorbitant for the quality. For what they’re charging, I expected a much better experience. My granddaughter’s chicken nuggets were horribly overcooked. It’s unacceptable to serve food like this without offering a replacement or alternative. Restaurants should be held accountable when food is inedible."

  We LOVE that we can bring our dog and she loves going to the Lazy Dog!! We’re club members for 4+ years and my husband loves the beer. We held his 50th birthday party at Lazy Dog because the dog could come. BUT I’m gluten free and there is exactly 1 brunch item and 2 dinner items that I can modify in a way that makes them safe to eat but boring. We come anyways but just a LITTLE attention to some gluten free options would have us coming a LOT more often. And a gluten free TV dinner option would have us stopping for pickup on the way home from work. The place is great, but just a little attention to this detail (1-2 more gluten free options) and we’d come 3x as often.

  We were in the area and decided to try Lazy Dog. The wait was a bit longer than they had said but we sat at the bar, it wasn’t a big inconvenience. Food was really good, our server was good but she did forget our waters and brought the wrong drink. She apologized and fixed it. My son’s steak was very good, I tried the Korean bibimbap-very HOT, caution! My husband had the Mediterranean Shish Kebab. All came out great. Both inside and outside seatings are great! Loved the inside, too, but preferred the patio. There’s a giant fireplace which could be fun for big groups. As the name suggests, they’re dog friendly. We’ll try again in the future as the small inconveniences were not a big deal but hope they fix those.
