  I wanted to go in person to the store to make sure that I was going to get exactly what I had in mind. A vanilla cake, with strawberry filling and chocolate ganache. Surprisingly it took a little while for the very pleasant attendant to understand the request. She was very nice to let me try one of the cakes that had the strawberry filling. It was absolutely delicious. After a little more discussion to make sure I was ordering what I really wanted, they finally took the order, with additional 5 dollars for the chocolate ring. Totally fine. Today was the celebration. I was raving to the birthday gentleman he was going to get the best cake of his life. We cut the cake. To my surprise the cake was dull, overly sweet (the attendant did tell me the cake was going to be sweeter than the one I was trying), and boring. The pink ganache, supposedly to be the strawberry part of the order, tasted just sweet. Just that. No strawberry. Just a poor pinkness resemblance of strawberry. The cake was dry, the ganache just sweet, the overall flavor just fell flat. I'd think if I paid $80 dollars for a traditonally decorated 6 inches cake, I would hope to get some flavor with it. The pastry chef should try what she/he is selling. The attendant deserves 5 stars. I may buy one of their ready made cake in the future, but this review is about this cake specifically, and it deserves no stars. Unfortunately, after two slices the cake ended up in the trash.

  I ordered custom Pokéball cake pops and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. The cake pops were packaged upside down in the box, so the decorated tops were touching the bottom of the box. As a result, the tops were flattened and the design was smudged when we opened them. For a custom decorated item where the appearance is the main reason you order it, the packaging should protect the design — it seemed like the box simply wasn’t the right type for these. The decorating itself also looked rushed and uneven, with inconsistent lines and details that didn’t resemble a clean Pokéball design. Because these were custom items, presentation and craftsmanship matter just as much as taste, and unfortunately the execution felt closer to novice-level decorating than a polished custom product. I also noticed additional cake pops in the display case that appeared to be melting, which made me concerned about how the products were being handled overall. The flavor was fine, but when you’re paying for custom decorated treats, taste alone isn’t enough — the presentation and execution should match the custom request. Unfortunately this order did not meet expectations. I’m sharing this feedback in the hope that the business improves its packaging and quality control for future custom orders.

  Beautifully crafted and absolutely delicious, Jason designed a perfect cake for our family’s recent celebration! I brought some ideas to Jason, and then Dawn, and they were great to collaborate with. The cake was completed on time and included all the design elements we had discussed. If you’re looking for the perfect cake for your celebration I highly recommend Cake Stand because of their friendly and helpful staff, their excellent baking skills, and creativity.   A real flaky croissant with an authentic taste. The lady was very sweet and describe all the pastries..coffee cake is delicious!
