The avocado toast was also subpar. The staff was also rude, which further diminished my experience. Overall, I am highly unsatisfied with my visit.

As far as the empanadas go, the chicken one is the best, followed by the cheese then beef and Hawaiian. The peppermint iced mocha hit the spot and disappeared much too quickly! Mecatos Bakery and Cafe may just be a hidden gem in Apopka!

After we decided what to order she mentioned we were not able to order because the store closed at 8pm. She only offered what was already cold and available. Which is understandable, however she could’ve announced that everything was closed. They still had people waiting for the orders inside.
- EJEric JacobsenDec 21, 20254.0First impression was a great looking little cafe, tasty menu, and relatively busy when I arrived at 8am. I tried to order ham and cheese but they had no ham. I ended up ordering a bacon egg and cheese on croissant. This sandwich was massive!! Have to say the bacon was meh, but the rest of the sandwich was absolutely delicious! Price was ok for the size! There were tons of holiday special items for sale also. I’d 100% return and hope to try a few more menu items. Def recommend!
