  ​"Siempre me ha gustado Pollo Tropical por el sazón de su pollo, pero mi última visita fue muy decepcionante. Aproveché una oferta de 'Family Meal' por la aplicación y, al llegar a casa, los frijoles tenían un olor desagradable. Al probarlos, confirmé que estaban echados a perder. Tuve que tirar los frijoles y el arroz a la basura. Lo más frustrante es que contacté al servicio al cliente por la app y solo recibí un mensaje genérico de 'lo sentimos'. Una lástima que no valoren así a sus clientes habituales."

  The past two times I’ve visited this location, I’ve had a disappointing experience. During my first visit, my order was incorrect, but I didn’t realize it until I got home, so I didn’t report it at the time. When I returned on my next visit and ordered the same item, the order was incorrect again. I went through the drive-thru to have the mistake corrected, but the employee assisting me was very rude and made me feel as though the error was my fault. It felt like I was being treated as difficult simply for asking them to fix a mistake with my order. I hope management can address this issue so future customers have a better experience. Update: I just got home and the order is still wrong. I asked for extra crispy chicken and got extra grilled.

  If I was the owner I would fire the whole store they thought it was a joke making delivery drivers wait. Saying chicken was cooking.. then telling other customers there is no chicken..... I hope they all lose their jobs

  I stopped by the Pollo Tropical drive-thru today and ordered two 1/4 chicken plates with rice and beans. Unfortunately, both quarter pieces were completely burned and impossible to eat. The chicken was so overcooked that it was dry, hard, and tasted terrible. I basically wasted my money on food that went straight into the trash. This is not good quality, and it feels dishonest to serve food in that condition. I live far from this location, so going back to fix the issue is not easy for me. I bought this meal for my kids, and now I have to find something else to give them because what I was served was inedible. Very disappointed with the quality and service. This should never have left the kitchen like that.

  I visited this location and stood at the register for about 3 minutes without being acknowledged. Eventually, a woman wearing a red shirt and earpiece took my order. I ordered a #7 half chicken (all dark meat), yellow rice, no beans, and a cup of water. When I received my tray, it had two yellow rice sides and beans, and I noticed I was charged an additional $0.75. I politely explained that I did not order extra rice and did not want beans. Since the employee taking my order appeared tired and overwhelmed, I tried to be understanding and simply asked them to remove the extra items and change my water to iced tea instead. At that point, the woman in the red shirt approached and told me not to tell her workers what to do. The interaction became unnecessarily tense. I decided to just correct the order and request the $0.75 refund. She stated the entire order had to be refunded and replaced, took my receipt in an unpleasant manner, and processed it while visibly upset. This situation could have been handled calmly and professionally. I was respectful throughout the interaction and simply wanted my order corrected. Customer service and tone matter just as much as the food.
