The Opulent is an excellent venue for private events like birthday parties, baby showers, and organizational gatherings. The lounge space was very nice and well-equipped with a full bar, TV, projector, lounge seating, tables, and LED mood lighting. The food was delicious—Singapore noodles, chicken fried rice, black pepper chicken, chicken wings, and burger sliders were all big hits with our guests. The owner, Miru, and her staff were fantastic from start to finish. With a quick turnaround during the busy holiday season, Miru worked closely with me on pricing, menu options, and event details, and communication was always easy and responsive. The staff was attentive and reliable throughout the event. I would highly recommend The Opulent for private events—the lounge space comfortably hold about 80 people.

The employee working that night was bartending, bussing, taking orders and running food. I think I saw 2 other people working. It was almost a one-man show. Then the server stopped coming to our table and was surprised when we went up to the bar to order another round. To which he replied "really?". After our meal and last round, they couldn't produce a paper receipt but could text or email it. It was really busy maybe because there was a live band called PureBred playing. The band was awesome!!!!!! The restaurant was not ready for all of the people I guess.

The lamb vindaloo was equally impressive, with a rich, well-balanced spice level and authentic taste. Overall, the food quality was excellent, especially the lamb dishes. Definitely a place worth visiting if you enjoy flavorful Indian cuisine.

The bathrooms were dirty and unsanitary, and the appetizers were so bad we didn’t even bother ordering entrées. Everything tasted premade and reheated and still came out cold. The Caesar salad was dark, wilted, and looked days old. Our waitress was amazing — kind, attentive, and the only highlight of the night. She tried to help by removing the salads from the bill, but after she called the owner, they refused to take anything else off. The drinks were okay, but the atmosphere was dead — no music, no customers, and it looked like the place had shut down. The saddest part is we came here 6–8 months ago for a birthday party in the lounge and had a great time. I don’t know what happened since, but this place has gone downhill fast. Another couple even sat down and left right back out. Huge disappointment for what was supposed to be a birthday celebration.
