It was late at night and they were cleaning up to close in 30 minutes, but the self serve register was not accepted google pay from my phone. I stood there for close to 10 minutes pressing the help button and calling out but no one came. Eventually I abandoned the register to get my card from the car. Came back in and used my card with no issue. I know you have to scan your receipt to leave at this location, but to not have someone posted there at all times when there are customers in the store is crazy.

I came to look at the hours and saw the review involving the heavyset gentleman. The guy is extremely nice and I would like to share my experience to what seems a very biased and childish review. I was shopping with my two children and my son wanted to see the machine so we approached the machine with no problem and started browsing. The gentleman in the hateful review did come about a couple mins later very nice man and helped and explained everything about the cards and which would fit my son because he was just starting and he was very excited to do it. The man never stopped me from buying anything if anything he helped my son convince to buy him something 😂. I asked the man if he worked for acme and he explained he works gig work and a lot of it comes out of the acme. I have shopped 3 times since 2 times using the vending machine and not seen the man and I wish would have to have thanked him. My son loved his box the gentleman advised us would be best and he wasn’t wrong. I love this store and just had to make sure this nasty previous review was shown for what it really was and just an angry person I guess who didn’t get cards he wanted which is sad because it is a kids game

The store was immaculate. It was well stocked. But the hot food in particular the fried chicken was all out. I was told ten minutes until a fresh batch would come out. So I shopped around and came back to get the chicken. It was fried super hard... ugh not to my liking. It was a hard pass for me. I didn't realize that you had to swipe your receipt in order to get out of the store. I put my receipt in my bag and then had to dig it out in order to get out of the market... It was not a good experience. It was like that in all of the isles to exit. I mean I know times are hard but have some compassion for the paying customers...

I go to this ACME every week and have a good experience but today the associates and store manager went above and beyond. They had a Halloween event for kids and I read the time wrong and showed up right when it ended. An associate was dressed up for the kids as a unicorn and she went out of the way to get my daughter a goodie bag, cookie, and allowed her to color. I felt so bad I missed the event for my daughter and they made sure to still make it special for her!

Disappointed with the Pokémon vending machine situation I love coming to this Acme, but there’s always a man on a scooter sitting at the Pokémon card vending machine all day, every day, sometimes even parking his vehicle in the fire lane for hours, It’s really frustrating — kids never get a chance to use it because he’s constantly there. What’s worse is that the employees are aware of it and still allow it to happen (was hung up on when I voiced my concern), even though there’s a no loitering sign posted right on the machine. It’s disappointing to see the policy ignored, especially when it prevents children and families from enjoying something meant for everyone. I really hope management steps in and enforces the rules fairly so all customers can have a turn.
